Cleanest food in Atascadero, these people really care about the food they serve! Clean kitchen, they will let you walk through it so there's nothing to hide. Great place to take someone practicing an alternative diet, lots of options!

Very sorry to report the cook at Fig did not know how to cook spaghetti. We ordered 2 marinara lunches & received dished where the spaghetti had obviously been pre-cooked and re-warmed. Spaghetti on both plates was clumped (stuck together) and could not be seperated despite my trying to mix in the marinara sauce. While the spaghetti was the main... More

Well I noticed that it has been literally years since my original review of FIG. Well I just had lunch there and the quality, service and home town qualities that make Fig adorable are all still there! People are coming and going, cooking is going on all the time, and the lunch today was marvelous! The Moroccan bowl is oh... More

The Herbed Quinoa & Spinach and Tuscan Sun chicken were both delicious. The menu seems novel, upscale "homemade". The seating is quite limited so not sure how it works during a busy time.

We were doing our college tour and visited SLO. We wanted to go back to the bay area asap..College tours take a lot out of you! We were starving ..and didn't want to wait 15 minutes in SLO for the restaurants to open for lunch.. We said we'll go on the road and find something. Well at 11:30 we wanted... More

This is a small little restaurant next to the Carlton Hotel with only 4 tables inside and 2-3 outside. They make excellent pasta with home made noodles. Everything was wonderful and will definitely return at 1st chance we get. Oh, and the desert was salted caramel ice cream and some wonderful home made cheesecake. Definitely a hidden gem in the... We stayed in this great town on our road trip to see all 21 California missions. We went wine tasting and after asking for dinner suggestion, we ended up here. There were a couple of tables inside, but we opted to be seated in the back. We honestly felt like we were in somebody's backyard patio and had the most... More

Poor service. We went for a late lunch and ordered $27 worth of food and sat on the back patio. After waiting 30mins and having empty drinks for about 10min, someone came out and said "how was everything?" To which we responded "we aren't sure...we haven't had anything yet..." They then realized our ticket was never put in. After about... More

We were steered to this restaurant from the reviews we read here on Tripadvisor. Hard to believe in such a tiny space, there were such wonderful food choices waiting. Only disappointed that we only had one meal there! Inventive, ultra fresh local organic ingredients in a friendly and efficient space. Don't hesitate to go. Probably the best meal of our... More
