We enjoyed dinner at El Vaquero last night with a Mexican friend, and no doubt it is Authentic! The tortilla soup was perfectly picante and delicious. Our friend had the shrimp….rice, beans and salad, oh yum! and Don Memo….his regular chile rellenos and enchiladas. Really good and fast service, but nice chips and salsas while we waited… They also serve... More

My wife and I along with another dined here for the first time. The place was clean as were the restrooms. The menu contained all of the normal Mexican dishes and typical cuisine. The fish tacos were great. The rice and beans were light and fresh. Our friends had a chicken burrito and a wet carne asada burrito. Both were... More

Super service and the best Mexican food ever! loved it here. They were so nice and accommodated us very well and respectful. The food was the best I've had anywhere.

We've eaten here three times and won't do it again. Not very good food or atmosphere. In a shopping center at the end of town. The food was very bland with nothing "adorning" it.

Great food and excellent service. I would definitely go back again and again. Traditional Mexican homestyle cooking.

The chiles rellenos were not anything like what we've had in 1/2 dozen cities in Mexico. El Vaquero flooded the chiles with a catsup-based "sauce", which we've never encountered in Mexico. The Margaritas were watery.

Typical Mexican dishes. Rice, beans, burritos, enchiladas, etc. Just lower the price for a glass of milk.

Always fast, authentic meals. Generous food and low prices. You can sit indoors or out on the deck (complete with umbrellas). Friendly staff who is very attentive.

Had a jones for some enchilada's! unfortunately everything we ordered was flat and plain. I even ordered up some habanero's or something spicy and it wasn't that great either. At least they've got cerveza's!
