cozy cafe, generous breakfast portions

We stopped here for Sunday breakfast and it was very good and plentiful. Located conveniently right by Highway 4 in Arnold town center with plenty of easy parking. If you come between 6-9am there is an early bird breakfast special that we unfortunately missed but price was still good. Had Huge... read more

This western style café is set perfectly in the Sierra forest. Beautiful trees, outdoor seating, excellent café style food, and good price point make for a wonderful eating experience.

A cut above GB in service and quality. The food was well prepared, good quality and promptly served. Sevice was friendly and good and the restaurant was clean.

Excellent breakfast, prompt service even though the place was pretty busy. A real biscuit, not some sweet bread thingy. Would go back.

The food is great quality in this neighborly cafe in the town of Arnold. You go in there, and everyone knows each other, as the cafe seems to be a regular meeting spot for the local residents. The service is real good, but this place can get swamped with customers, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a... More

Wonderful food on your way to Bear Valley, Calaveras Big Trees or other great places on Highway 4. Best breakfast I've found, pancakes, omelets, home made soup, and good burgers. Old Time cedar planking on the walls, and you can eat on the deck or in front of a fire. It's really like home-style cooking, great food, and the "old... More

Food was great. Small café, but a real family feel. Plus the food was very good (breakfast). I really liked the food; I ordered blueberry pancakes and my husband ordered an omlet.

Great breakfast menu, staff is friendly and service is quick and the food is delicious. Our coffee cups are never empty and we eat there every time we visit Arnold.

We've been going to Bristol's for three or four years now; every chance we're in the neighborhood. The food is always great and the portions generous. It can take a little time to get your food since everything is cooked to order by the wonderful chef/co-owner Ms. Patty. Her Partner Richard, will seat you, bring you coffee and refills and... More

We had their lunch after St. Patrick's day and I had Corn beef and cabbage which was ok and my huband had a sandwich. It was late morning and looking around we should have had eaten from their breakfast menu. Friendly staff.
