Humble decor, but consistently good basic food, good selection, and usually good service in this little cafe. Open for all meals of the day including dessert! Very impressed with the vegan baked goods (such as chocolate cake, ginger cookies, scones etc). Best vegan baked goods in town imho. Breakfast and soups especially notable. You can view a pretty large area... More

I am in no way a vegitarian but this place was amazing! The food is exceptional, the staff are very friendly, and it's a fun atmosphere. I would highly recommend this to everyone!

This is a great vegetarian restaurant, but now I can't eat soy or dairy so my choices are more limited. The soup was amazing so I got a few to go to heat up for the next couple days. If you have good vegan soup with no soy, I can always go away full and happy.

This is a vegetarian restaurant that delivers variety and taste. Everything is prepared with healthy ingredients and is well presented. We really enjoyed their dinner salads and breakfast items. It is clean and the service is excellent. We went there 4 times during our 1 week stay.

The Wildflower is a nice cafe with a friendly and open ambiance. When I think of the Wildflower I think of the sort of cafe that my wife and her friends enjoy. When I'm out for a lunch, however, it isn't on my top list. I don't recall compelling flavors, but the food is certainly healthy and good.

Since 1995 Wildflower Cafe has been the only place we feel we can eat with impunity as staunch vegans. We know that meat has never been on their grill. The food is wonderful...I just love it. The service is also very reliably good. The prices are affordable.

On our whistlestop tour of the West Coast, places we chose to stay were determined by two things; could we find a decent hotel and - more importantly - could we find somewhere to eat that would feed a vegan. Arcata came good with these two options, mainly because of Trip Advisor pointing us towards Wildflower. On entering the place... More

If you are a traveler who is craving cashew gravy, whole wheat biscuits, or tofu teriyaki, this is the place for you. You can get so many comfort foods, including nachos, mac and cheese, or biscuits and gravy, with no animal products or guilt. There is also a good pastry and cookie selection, coffees, and smoothies. The seating area is... More

I recently travelled on the West Coast for a few months and ate out regularly along the way. This was one of three places that stuck in my memory as some of the best food we had. Our server was very helpful and friendly and the food was great!
