We decided to get ice cream after dinner and found this shop on TripAdvisor. The flavors were interesting but my husband found the creamsicle to be grainy and pricey. It was obvious that this is the one place that most people go because there aren't any more choices available. We probably should have saved our money and bought ice cream... More

This restaurant is a nice place to stop if you're in the mood for ice cream in Arcata. They have some unique flavors that you are free to try prior to purchase. However, don't expect anything that you'll find in a large city. This is a great stop for Arcata, but don't expect anything to knock your socks off to... More

This place is the best ice cream in humboldt by far. The owner takes pride in making his ice cream with the finest quality ingredients. Made with strauss creamery products and local fruits you can't ask for anything more fresh. Depending on the time of year will determine the flavors that are available but the staple flavors are the lavender... More

This place is amazing! My husband had two scoops of raspberry swirl on the freshly made waffle cone and wouldn't stop raving about it. My daughter had the chocolate orange chip and it was yummy. Tasted like chocolate with grand marnier flavoring. I had the vanilla almond rose. It was truly the best ice cream I have ever had. Unfortunately... More

First of all the cones were not great at all in terms of both texture and flavour. It's not because they're unpleasant but they were not how they should be. Watermelon sorbet was weak in flavour and gelatinous in texture. Honey, vanilla and lave bed was almost great. We didn't get any honey flavour and the actual lavender flower bits... More

Ive traveled far and wide and sampled every ice cream place in the land. I've traveled across the seas to taste Gelato first hand and I've lived by the motto, "eat dessert first". I'd try any "man vs food ice cream challenge" and since we've had kids and my wife has shown me the light on organic foods and being... More

I love this place - organic, handmade ice cream in a family friendly location, complete with wooden carousel rides for the kids. Locally owned and operated by a conscientious family…this place is a welcome treat in a world taken over by chain everything. Nice selection of unique flavors. You can't go wrong with a stop here.
