When I am in the Pasadena/Arcadia Area I always make it a point to stop by Basil Thai Cooking Restaurant on Huntington Dr in Arcadia. The food is simply amazing and they will cook to how spicy you would like it I.E. spicy, medium spicy and ect. My favorite to order is the Pad Kee Mao which is a dish... More

...not sure about the cooking part since the new owner claims to have previous restaurant in Thai town! Hollywood and the Thai foods are better at Hollywood Thai Boat style nearby, so stiff competition to be had! Read review on yelp before giving it a go for take out foods, fyi Fast cooking tho by this small family owned Thai Cheers!

Had the Pad Thai... everything on the menu is very reasonably priced. The food was good, but nothing really stood out. I've had better Thai. Service was friendly and competent. Strange interior design.

I've enjoyed this place so much I make it a point to visit every time I am in the area. Family-run, they really make you feel at home. The decor is "industrial" but very cozy, and they're within walking distance of many of the Arcadia hotels. The food is excellent - I try something new every time and I've never... More

A small place but very busy so everyone must like their food. I ordered a Tofu salad and a chicken dish with peanut sauce. It was really good but my salad was kind of different it had a poached egg in it and when I put the fork in it the egg exploded. The dressing was a delicious peanut sauce... More

If you like Thai Food, this is a good place to spice up your taste buds. Parking is a little difficult at the front. Try the parking lot in the rear. Food is great and so is the nice atmosphere.

The GPS directed us to this family run Thai restaurant just within waling distance (2 blocks) from the Embassy Suite Arcadia where we stayed. Despite our late 8:45-ish drop-in, the staff welcomed us with cheers. The shrimp Pad Thai, yellow curry chicken and the saute sea food, subjected to our low salt and low oil requirement, were all up to... More

Why do you go to a restaurant? The answer is obvious--good food. By that scale, this place is 5 star. The menu is extensive, the flavors are good, the choice is authentic, and the balance is great. The staff (family?) are super friendly and helpful, and we felt good to have patronized them. That said, the atmosphere is not luxurious... More

This is a family owned restaurant. It is small, but they provide excellent service and the food is individually prepared right at the grill where one can watch. They made suggestions that turned out to be just right. An excellent meal if you are looking for something out of the ordinary.
