This restaurant was ranked 1/206 in Arcadia, with Starbucks and In-and-out Burger coming in at a close 6&7. So I'm not sure what the stats mean. There is an indiscernible line up that extends out doors into the parking lot, btw, there is an identical twin shop that is not attached on the opposite side of the building, and one... More

This was our first time dining at Din Tai Fung but have read many great reviews. We arrived right when it opened so we didn't have to wait in line or find parking. We noticed after 15 or 30 minutes that the parking lot was full and a line up was forming outside. The food and service was very good.... More

We called ahead around 500pm and they said there were several tables open. We got there around 530pm and were seated right away. However, when we left 45 mins. later, there was a long line. Dumplings are the best and so was the garlic spinach - cooked perfectly. I love chili sauce on my dumplings, and while this one tasted... More

Arrived in LA and had to visit this awesome restaurant first thing. I was not disappointed. I have been to different DTF locations around the globe (Beijing, Taipei, Seoul) and I must say that this is the closest in quality to the mothership in Taipei. Food was excellent, service superb. These are indeed the best dumplings on the planet. Side... More

Din Tai Fung! You are the bomb! DUMPLINGS! LEGIT DUMPLINGS! I've never seen so much variety in dumplings and xiao long baos on one menu before. So... We tried a lot, and LOVED them all. Some thoughts: * The xiao long baos are a little on the smaller end. However! The encasing is perfect, not too thick and not too... More

I live for the 小籠包 here. If I could give the food more than five stars, I would. Near the front of the restaurant is a glass structure, behind which cooks prepare food.

Yep, I looked this place up way back in Florida..... Funny thing, 100% of the folks (in CA) we asked about this restaurant said it was the best. It is ! We had the pork dumplings and the vegetable dumplings and both were terrific. It was fun watching the staff make the dumplings and the servers manage all of us...... More

Popular and consistent. Go during odd hours for no wait, or take out. I do notice that some families get better service, based on ethnicity. Their take out service never fails, is packed perfectly.

We were attending an event at the LA Arboretum in Arcadia across from Santa Anita and had heard of Din Tai Fung Dumpling House so we gave it a try. There is usually a line to get in but we came just before opening and got right in. The Dumplings are the best I have had. Much better than any... More

Although, there is always a wait at this restaurant, it is worth the wait! The food was fantastic, reasonably priced when splitting with a table, and arrives super fresh! No sitting in the window for this place! Also, our waitress, June, was phenomenal! I actually think she made the food taste better due to her amazing attitude, ridiculous cuteness and... More
