The Best

We stayed in Pasadena and had so many Dim Sum place to try and not enough days. This was my husband's favorite and high on my list also. My all time favorite are the half veg and half pork shrimp wontons in spicy sauce. Heaven in a bowl, I could eat two. Husband's favorite soup dumplings! I won't... read more

Din Tai Fung has always been my favorite place in Taiwan. While we were visiting LA, pleasantly surprised to find it in U.S. to enjoy it with my family. We ordered the juicy steam bao, fried rice, fried noodle, garlic string beans. All are absolutely delicious. Must do if you are in the area and like traditional Chinese dishes.

We recently went to Din Tai Fung while visiting a friend in Pasadena. He ordered a wide variety of dumpling and vegetable dishes, each one of which was better than the one before. The dumplings were fresh and juicy, with the skins cooked to just the right level of chewiness. I'm not familiar with other restaurants in Arcadia, which is... More

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants. I wish we had one on the East Coast. Their dumplings are easily the best out there. My go to are the juicy pork dumplings, sautéed string bean with garlic and the spicy cucumbers to start. The house chicken soup with noodles and rice and pork shao mai are also out... More

I love this place but it's just a hassle to wait. Since I live nearby I usually order to go or go right when they open. There is two location so you can check which location has less waiting time. I recommend the fish & veggie dumpling, pork chop fried rice, and beef noodles soup. There is also lots of... More

This is a very inauspicious restaurant in Arcadia, located in a strip mall! However, it serves the most wonderful dumplings and noodle dishes despite its location. Subtly flavored food that was surprising non greasy. Perfectly cooked. Great service by an attentive staff group effort. We did not try the dessert offerings. We had cucumber salad, green beans, chicken dumplings, pork... More

We have been to several din tai fungs all over the world and the taste and quality of their food is excellent. The pork dumplings (xia long bao} is their specialty. This is pork dumpling with its juice inside. The string beans is to die for. There is always a long line in any of their restaurants here in the... More

Amazing food that was fresh and served promptly. Staff was very coordinated and worked as a team. The resturant was clean and had nice atmosphere. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food.
