I am not sure why they have 2 restaurants around the corner from each other but we ate at the older smaller one and it was fine.Very clean and neat place with enough space between tables. We also had no wait at 11:30AM on a Thursday. We were greeted enthusiastically and our server June went out of her way to explain... More

This was my first time here, a couple friends recommended it since I had an event at the Santa Anita Racetrack down the street. Luckily we arrived a few minutes after 11am when they opened, so there were plenty of empty tables still. For the 2 of us we decided on the pork dumplings, cucumbers, pork noodles, spinach and a... We arrived at 10:50am on a Sunday and did not see the usual line. The restaurant notifies you by text when your table is ready. This allows you to roam the nearby shops and get away from the hot weather. (Standing in the shade in dry heat for an hour is not fun.) Of course, they still come out and... More

On the way back to San Jose from San Diego, we decided to stop at L.A. for lunch. We heard about this restaurant before but didn't know our wait-time would be as long as 40 minutes. We ended up being very hungry by the time we had our to-go dumplings. They did taste good, but was it really worth waiting... More

I truly enjoy this place. Been here many times. Also been to multiple branches in Shanghai and Taipei. But had a bad experience here recently at lunch. They were getting a lot of customers on the wait list, but our turn was just about up. Finally they called us, after a 25 minute wait, 10 minutes longer than their forecast.... More

Elly and I are lovers of dim sum and previously thought we knew where the best could be found. Now we have a new favorite dim sum restaurant. I had been reading about Xiao Long Bao for several years, but could never find it on any menu. One day I "Googled" Xiao Long Bao and lo and behold, this Arcadia... More

I cannot get enough of these dumplings. They are soooooooo good. Don't try to take a bite of the dumpling, just pop the whole dumpling in your mouth or the juic inside the dumpling will quickly run down your arm. I had them in China and they are just as good here. It was consistent in appearance, size and taste.... More

The food is WoW and the service is fantastic. It is great to deal with staff who speak perfect English and understand the true meaning of good service. Love this place. But the waiting for a table is horrible, especially when you have kids.

Best dumping so far. Every time I come back always good quality food. But the down for this trip was we ordered noodle soup for my son, all the food came out but the noodle (after 35 mins ) we asked they said just start cooking noodle. Nearly finished 3 order of dumpling and fried rice and string bean. Finally... More

Whenever we're in the area we try to make it to Din Tai Fung and J J Bakery across the way in the same mall. Arrived 11:45A and waited 15 minutes. Ordered Seaweed & Bean Cured in vinegar dressing; tasty and refreshing start. Ordered and enjoyed the noodle w/minced pork sauce; noodle had good texture with just the right amount... More
