A Unique Experience!

How many places are there where you can enjoy a tasty breakfast while watching race horses work out just a few yards in front of you? Not many. Very enjoyable experience with a great view of the San Gabriel Mountains. It's a fun place to take out of town guests.

This is a very special restaurant in the racing world. You are sitting at the track while the horses are working out with people who love the sport just like you do. There is a special energy here. All the staff are sweet as can be.

I came here early one morning to take pictures. They have a photographer's day. It was SOOOO exciting! There were trainers walking around (Bob Baffert) and you can see the morning workouts! I also got the breakfast buffet, which was wonderful. (Not sure if they have this all the time?) I got there at the crack of dawn. It was... More

Eating breakfast watching the race horses workout is a fantastic way to start the day! Good selection of breakfast items and good prices. Lots of "regulars" and jockeys there so it's fun to listen to them discussing the horses.

You don't need to place any bets to win at this restaurant. Although the seating and menu are a little basic, the atmosphere more than compensates. Friendly staff greet and seat and serve you, while the splendor of horses and trainers working out on the track is constant entertainment. The biggest challenge is finding it. The restaurant is nestled at... More

I was happy that this restaurant was available before the Seabiscuit tour. Service was great and food good.

The best kept secret in Southern California. However, it can be a little confusing the first couple of times you go there. Ask the regulars for help -- most of them are friendly.

Went for family breakfast including two young children, young adults and one senior. This is a place for all ages if you want a gorgeous setting, beautiful thoroughbreds and reasonably priced good food. You can watch the work outs and people watch some of the best jockeys in horse racing and you don't even have to be a expert to... More

This restaurant is at the Santa Anita race track. It is accessible for anyone who wants a good meal; you don't have to be there for a race. We went for breakfast on a Sunday. It was a little tricky to find, but once there parking was free and close. We ordered state a window as breakfast is walk up... More
