Came here in July, 2015. Stumbled in and noticed some beautiful egg custard tarts. They were soooo.....good! Will be back again the next time we travel.

Freshly baked sweet and savory buns, breads, etc, the smell alone will make your mouth water! It's a nicer store front than many of the other Asian bakeries. Prices are a tad higher, but the baked goods are better. Parking is challenging as it shares spaces with other businesses and spaces are hard to find during peak hours.

I've going to JJ Bakery ever since they first opened more than 10 years ago, in the beginning everything was good and fresh maybe a bit pricey but still acceptable. Though the service was very good and attentive. I guess that now they have gotten popular with several branches all over LA basin area, things changed. The bread/bun has gotten... More

So our friends brought us to this place and then really talked up the mochi. We were buying things for the long flight back to the east coast and on a whim bought a couple mochi thinking, sure, we'll try them. But oh my heavens!! They were a revelation!!!! So creamy good and full of yum!! The green tea one... More

I thought I knew Chinese baked goods from my experiences on the East Coast, but JJ Bakery blew my perceptions out of the water. We bought a variety of things that we then ate over the next couple of days, including a nut tart, almond brittle, mochi, etc., and everything was remarkable. I highly recommend a stop here for dessert!

I come to this bakery almost every Sunday...The pastry are fresh bake and there are so many choices to try. I love their cheesecake its not too sweet and the texture is fluffy not thick. All the cakes are not too sweet, fluffy and have nice decoration. It would be a good idea to take to any celebration. My kids... More

I am a fan of the less-sweet, lighter yet still delicious Asian pastries. We regularly purchase cakes from JJ Bakery, which offers a wide variety of fruit-topped cakes with interesting fillings (taro, red bean), as well as more traditional cakes (e.g., Black Forest). They also bake a wide variety of breads, ranging from croissants to taro buns (my favorite!). It's... More

This is a great place with fresh bread coming out multiple times a day and one can order some quick bite items fresh from the kitchen. You will find something be it breakfast or box lunch items, cakes, cookies, sweet or savory buns, hot/cold drink menu, bread or pastries. I like majority of the bread and cake items. Mango mochi,... As a resident of Arcadia, JJ Bakery is "the" bakery to go to. Not only do they offer great tasting cakes and pastries, they serve the best Chinese/Taiwanese style morning breakfast in town. You can also grab a Taiwanese box lunch, ready made sandwiches or their savory breads to go for your meal. The only negative is that the line... More
