Parking is crazy, but worth the hassle. Shelf after shelf of tasty bites. The line was very long but moved so fast I barely had time to get my wallet out.

I have a lot of fond memories of JJ Bakery mostly because my mom used to buy us goodies from here. (back when my sister and I lived with my parents under 1 roof LOL). Anyway, since I work near the area, I stop in here once in a while and we've also ordered large cakes for company events. We... More

I had not planned to visit this bakery as I happened upon it while I was waiting for my order at Din Tai Fung Dumpling House (across the parking lot). I was pleased to encounter visually and aromatically appealing desserts--both Chinese and other Asian delights. I bought several items but the best was the mango mochi. If you like mochi,... More

Food is laid out on shelves and behind a refrigerated counter. It all looks incredibly delicious. They have some western items as well like cream brule or Mount Blanc cake. The pastries, for the most part are not a sweet as in American or European bakeries make them but they are fresh and tasty. They haves some strange savory choices... More

J J Bakery is about the only bakery that makes delicious mochi desserts. Every time we come to Southern Cal, we always have the strawberry and mango mochi at this bakery. Good amount of fresh strawberries and mangos and not too sweet, just right. Please do NOT stop making these. The bakery is clean, lines move quickly and items are... More

Love their bakery! it's my go to place for birthday cakes. Taiwanese bento boxes are also good. Always busy even going into late night.

This bakery makes Chinese pastries and Chinese version of western pastries. The pastries tend not to be as sweet as American versions (will not taste like Twinkies). I agree with the previous reviewer, just try one. My husband got the multigrain rye bread and loved it. I always buy egg tarts in a Chinese bakery. This one is the best.... More

There are those says when you feel like real Chinese pastry. Yesterday was one of those days. The taro bread is to die for. There are other staples that make it extremely difficult to decide. My hint is, don't be afraid to try different pastries here 99% of the time you won't go wrong. BTW the cakes are as good... More

Our favorite bakery to stop at. Yummy bread and beautiful cake at reasonable price. I let my kids pick what they want...we all feel like kids in a candy store. Highly recommended!! Yes, get extras for tomorrow, you'll regret for not buying that extra bread you wanted.

Good selection of cakes on short notice. Beautiful and tasty. Parking is a nightmare, especially on a weekend.
