Nice coffee house tucked away

It was hard to find -- down a long hallway off of Pacific Ave. Walked thru a Mexican Restaurant, then you're in the Pacific Coffee Roasting Company. There is a back entrance - that is probably the real entrance. However, as a newbie, I had no idea.

FGood coffee has got to have an edge, and the people behind the counter are the vanguard that defines the brew. This place feels like a dress shop with 2 women. The 2 brewed coffees taste like colored water. See, it's a bridal boutique for the foo foo. Why me here? Heading home after a sojourn, and this has easy... More

Attracts locals only. In an upscale small outdoor shopping center with outdoor seating. Also has many small gift items attractively packaged.

We were staying right around the corner, but eschewed their brew for something from Pacific Coffee Roasting. And yes, they have a roaster! Right in the front of their place. I had chai latte, and it was NOT your garden-variety Tazo Chai mix at Starbucks (which I like fine). Theirs was hand-made, and very different, and very nice. Strong, but... More

We drove 5 minutes back from the foggy beach to get coffee, gelato, and sun . Our doggy shared the patio-gardeny area with us, watching bicyclists and others. Lovely vibe, good prices. Thank you!

Great coffee, outdoor seating and baked goods. Very busy local hang out! They make their own beans and it is the best coffee ever! They have a large selection to choose from if you want to buy beans, all to see and smell. They are very knowledgable about the coffee.

My wife an I have family in Aptos and visit several times per year. We have learned through trial and error that there is only one place to get the morning routine off to a good start: Pacific Coffee Roasting Co. Baristas have always been solid performers, baked goods are local and excellent, and the gelato is pretty good too.... More

A wonderful outdoor patio to enjoy an egg bagel, house roasted coffee, gelato and always fresh bakery goods. On a cold foggy day, the cafe is clean, warm and bright. An excellent spot to meet up with friends or work on a laptop, and the outdoor patio is a suitable place to bring children and dogs. The long time owners... More
