The Patio is a perfect brunch spot

We've had brunch or lunch here several times and it's always great. They have a wild mushroom dish that I love, and they get rave reviews for their grilled cheese sandwiches - above and beyond your everyday version. It's the best place around for eating out on a sunny day.

Over-rated and underachieved menu. Owner needs to work on inspiring the kitchen staff. Atmosphere is phony.

Expansive menu - everything from salads, steaks, fish to pizza. The bar area for dinner is my favorite or sitting outside when the weather is nice is also amazing. Always great service and everything I have tried there has been amazing. My favorite is the Strawberry Chipotle Salmon. They have large and small plates - - something for everyone.

I've eaten dinner at Bittersweet twice. I tried the chicken piccata the first time. The meal was excellent, rivaling my uncle's rendition of the dish (Sorry Uncle G!). To go with my meal, I had a nice selection of beers to choose from. We sat in the back area of the restaurant. The place is large, and each area has... More

I have to say that I really enjoy this place. The food is pricey, but is always good quality. They have a nice patio, bar, and dining room. The steaks are really good, but its the drinks and deserts that keep me and my wife coming back.

Four of us went for dinner - we had made reservations for six o'clock. The initial disappointing thing that happened was discovering a $30 corkage fee per bottle - really heavy handed, we thought. The next thing that happened is we were still waiting for our entree at seven thirty. When we questioned the long wait time our table was... More

We have eaten at Bittersweet Bistro several times and never been disappointed. However, we stopped by for a late lunch and were left scratching our heads at the disjointed service and also by the food (surprise). I ordered the Cobb Salad and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich. When the salad arrive I was really surprised at how plain... More

We went for my birthday and my has been made reservations for inside. There was hardly anybody inside, they were all out on their lovely patio. We soon found out that there are specials out on the patio that are not inside. The food came and it was good. However I did not feel that it was worth the very... More

This is a consistently great place to eat. Nice to have small plate choices & nightly specials. Had petrale sole with capers- perfectly cooked, nice veggies al dente & yummy potatoes au gratin. Small plate was perfect for me. Others had mushroom pasta , very good & mahi mahi. Try to save room for desserts. Fabulous. Great bar & drinks.... More

First of all I love parking under the redwood trees lit with tiny sparkly lights. You can eat outside by a fire or from choose three entirely different venues inside: the friendly, noisy bar, the quiet (during the week) lounge or the formal dining room. Recession busters are a great deal and are plenty of food. Ask for the complimentary... More
