Solid experience

A French Bistro with American attitude. We joined family here for our annual dinner night out. We enjoyed appetizers and I had an excellently prepared halibut. We also ordered the Duck. By far the tastiest dish was the beef stew. We all dipped our bread into the sauce. The apple tart was also... read more

This restaurant has wonderful French food. the menu is not extensive but each choice is thoughtfully selected and prepared perfectly. The strip mall where it is located has little ambience, but they have done a good job of the interior.

Although we live nearby, we had never been here. My husband booked a table for us for Valentine's Day, admittedly not the best night to go out to dinner. The food was fine; not great, but fine. The servers were pleasant, but disorganized. Both my husband and I thought the owner was arrogant, very unfriendly and not welcoming. After our... More

Appetizer and house salad were very good, as was dessert. Unfortunately, the entrees were ho hum at best. It's too bad because I really wanted to like this place after the owner made an excellent viognier wine suggestion. In the end, I thought the pricing was pretentious for the food.

My wife and I have eaten here a few times and I can say it is the best french restaurant in Aptos in my opinion. Everything is delicious, fresh, creative, and inspired. The owners are very nice people. The location doesn't feel quite right for fine dining next to a hot yoga and crossfit place in a mini strip mall... More

This place is unexpectedly in a tiny shopping center in Aptos. It has good, not great, French food. I've been there a few times and the experience has been varied. Mostly, it's been good, the ingredients are always fresh, but sometimes the food has been over cooked. The atmosphere is pleasant, the wait staff and owners are friendly and conscientious.... More

we enjoyed a fabulous meal with an excellent Bordeaux. Service is always spot on. I had the salmon with an incredible sauce. My wife had a rich stew that she raved about. Definitely a five star meal

This restaurant - tucked away in a small shopping center - is a gem - friendly, comfortable in a neighborhood setting with excellent food. The chef is French, and she takes enormous pride in the quality and presentation of her dishes. The menu choices are approachable, delicious, and filled with favorites. Check the daily menu to see what she has chosen... More

The food is always excellent. The service is attentive. It is worth a trip for the creamy onion soup alone. Don't miss it.

I used to love to go to a local French restaurant as a kid on the border outside Geneva, Switzerland. There were copper pots and wild boar heads on the walls and frog legs and snails on the menu. You can bring a French chef to California, but for practical reasons I suppose, the copper pots, the boar heads and... More
