Surly Staff?

We're still trying to figure out if we did something to annoy the waitress or if she plays the surly role for everyone. With so many restaurant choices, it's hard to understand why managers allow anyone to serve tables who is not gifted at social interaction. The food was adequate, but it's... read more

The first time we visited La Hacienda our waitress told us that her grandmother was in the kitchen cooking. Grandma knows what she's doing! Every dish we tried on our three visits was excellent. I didn't look in the kitchen but I'd bet there weren't any cans. Everything looked and tasted fresh made. You must go for Taco Tuesday!

Food was good, very large portions. Would recommend to a friend. I would come back. Location from hotel was close, lots of parking. Service was good.

We stopped by here for lunch after staying two nights in Angels Camp on business. It is located inside a small strip mall but once inside the ambinace is comfortable and inviting. I ordered the combination of Chicken Enchilada and Chili Relleno which came out steaming hot, too hot really. I enjoyed my meal and the portions were very large,... More

We were looking for somewhere to eat in Angel's Camp on a Tuesday evening. Everything in the historic town was rolled up for the day so we ventured into the outskirts hoping to find something besides a fast food franchise. We lucked onto La Hacienda in a shopping area on N. Main St. and were very happy with our experience.... More

This was a real surprise! This restaurant is in a small strip mall and nothing about the exterior or interior suggest that the food would be above average - but it was ! The food was served quickly and was better than most restaurants (Mexican is my favorite ethnic food); the burritos were especially good. The atmosphere is casual and... More

I had a chicken burrito and i could not finish. Honestly, taco bell is more authentic. This was our first and only visit.

I remember when this was a small restaurant just across the street from the new location. Our one and only visit was a terrible experience in terms of reheated food and poor service. A few months later we had a similar experience in a Mexican restaurant located in a neighboring town (Copperopolis) only to discover it was owned by the... More

We went to La Hacienda after my brother's football. It was overpriced, food was terrible, and service wasn't so great either. You only get one free refill. Overall, this place disgusted me.

The food well, we have eaten in a lot of better Mexican restaurants during our seven week trip through the USA. Maybe it is because you are currently looking for a new chef. The search form at the entrance, we have unfortunately seen the exit of the restaurant.
