Rodz was recommended to me by a friend, and I had occasion to go there for dinner and breakfast on my recent trip to Gold Rush country. On both occasions I was promptly greeted and seated upon my arrival. For Dinner, I ordered the Fish 'n' Chips. For Breakfast, I ordered the Chorizo skillet scramble from the selections on the... We were looking for a sit in place to eat a late breakfast and drove by this place on a Sunday morning. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot so we decided to give it a try. It's a bit run down and seems to have seen better days but we were hoping the food would make... More

Service was slow. Atmosphere was nonexistent. Food was mediocre at best and pricey for the quality. I would not recommend.

The atmosphere depicts a hot rod type of place, kinda 50's style. Waitstaff were friendly and kept our glasses filled. We stopped in for breakfast and were delighted with the food. Good place to eat.

What I look for to have breakfast at. Food is good. Portions are fair. Very good selection of breakfast items. They have a full lunch & dinner menu.

Ate breakfast here before heading home to Sacramento. Nothing special. What you would expect from a just okay diner. The food was good for breakfast. They did cook my hash browns extra crisp which is what I asked.

Waitress was great... Food was horrible! I ordered chicken strips and fries, they were so salty I could not even eat a quarter of my meal. Price for chicken strips and fries was over $12. It was a busy weekend here and all other places were packed (only 3 tables here were full should have gotten the clue). My husband... More

Very friendly waitnress, great service. By the time we finished we were stuffed. Everything was done well and tasty. We all got different food.

If you are over 6' 3" tall be careful going through the main entrance door. The door closer is installed upside down, I hit it with my head on the way in. Interior is old, a bit rough. Antique TVs, a lot of snow. The breakfast is very good, service-no problem there. Dinner is average, not bad but not great... More

Typical American diner fare - we went for breakfast two days in a row as we couldn't find anything else around. The food was quite good and the service friendly. Dining area in need of a little TLC, but would definitely recommend.
