This is one of the better places to eat in Angels Camp. The atmosphere is very nice and they often have live music on weekends. They support many local events and that is one of the reasons I buy gift certificates and go here for a nice meal.

The burger and french dip were very good. I think they met expectation for a county club restaurant. The view was nice and the service both times I've been there has been very friendly and professional. It would be great for a group dinning outside. Over all nice place I'll be back

We went out for a nice dinner at a place which we had heard talked about many times as being very good. We were very disappointed in the total package. Although the setting is very nice overlooking the golf course that was the extent of the positive experience. I ordered the prime rib, medium well and it basically was the... More

Camps is very popular among the locals. It has a great wine selection to go with the delicious food they serve day in and day out. The tri-tip dinner is the best in the area. The dining room is very vast, accommodating a dance floor right dab in the middle of the dining room. The background piano music sets the... More

WE were taken here by some fairly local friends who had been here sveral times and raved about it. Our hostess, friend, was very disappointed when she found they had changed the menu. She is a vegan and the options they had had for her were gone. The waiter we had was very professional and after several suggestions went to... More

Nice facility, great ambiance, friendly staff, good menu, good food quality; but nothing was hot. Prime rib was excellent; warm. Salads were very good. Would we return.....probably

My husband and I had been told this was the upscale restaurant to go to in Angels Camp and we're glad we went! We started with crab-cake appetizers. They were delicious although the aioli topping, while very tasty, was a little overpowering. Our entrees melted in our mouths. We shared a skirt steak dish and a shrimp & scallop dish.... More

We enjoyed our dinner at Camps, but our evening ended on a sour note when our dessert order was not delivered correctly (we only received one of the two items we ordered) and then the waitress disappeared for 15 minutes which prevented us from correcting it.

A newbie, showing up after posted closing time Friday night: Walked straight in, drawn by the wall of windows revealing a romantically-lit deck, live music playing, 3 couples in their 60s dancing, laughter & conversation from tables-but not obnoxiously loud. I sat outside & enjoyed a perfectly delicious salmon meal & fresh bread. The waitress never made me feel hurried... More

Just returned from a two nite stay at our timeshare in Angels Camp. We have dined at Camps Restaurant at the Greenhorn Creek Golf Course numerous times but the last couple of visits we have noticed a decline in both service and food quality. The building is nicely designed, the dining room spacious with great views of the golf course.... More
