Classic dishes done well

Saved Camps till the end of our visit. Classic prime rib, tender and properly cooked. Service was excellent --- seamless among the whole team. Lovely light corn chowder appetizer. Salted caramel sundae to die for as a closer. The slightly fruity au jus was different, but the only negative for... read more

Went to Camps this evening to try the new menu. The Fennel, pear salad was fantastic and I absolutely loved the scallops. The service was good and the atmosphere is always nice. A great place for dinner.

Coconut Shrimp appetizer was excellent. My wife said her Rib-Eye steak (medium) was good (not great). My Pappardelle pasta was barely above room temperature, over-cooked and stuck together in one sticky mass. It was obvious that whomever cooked it didn't know how to cook and/or de-starch the pasta. No offer for an on- the-house drink or dessert, which we would... More

Hubby took me to Camps Restaurant located at Greenhorn Creek Golf Resort, excellent menu for lunch, offered 5 burgers, crab cake, salmon, chicken, portabello veggie and beef... I had the crab cake burgers, it was fabulous, with red peppers and grilled onions.. hubby had fish and chips, not crowded, waitress Morgan was great.. had caramel (salted) ice cream with caramel... We went here on a Friday evening not thinking about making a reservation. We were able to be seated quickly. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor patio seating...a bit cool outdoors in October. They up had live music entertainment (a female singing and playing guitar), a very nice touch. Miles was our server and he, along with get rest of... More

We went here with another couple we met at our stay in Angels Camp, CA. The food was very good and the service was great. We celebrated our 37th anniversary so we decided to go here for our special dinner. The Camp restaurant is located on the Greenhorn creek golf course property.

Camp's is a very good restaurant in a great setting -- we enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the great views. This was a very busy lunch time yet our service was exceptional, our order taken promptly and delivered the same way as if right off the grill. The burgers are VERY GOOD and the draft beer choices are super as... More

We had a fabulous meal and the atmosphere is casual with a rustic flair. You may enjoy fine dining in a wonderful open room or dine on the patio. We happened to be there on a evening of fun with a Salsa band playing on the patio and people enjoying the music while dining inside. Beautiful open french doors allowed... More

We've been going to Camps for years. The service is generally outstanding and the food is solid. On our last visit, there were a couple of minor bumps that are typical of our latest visits. First, we made reservations and when we arrived we were seated in the middle of the room next to a large party even though there... More
