I had a bacon salad with dates, mixed greens in a maple vinaigrette, and my husband had a shredded beef burrito. Everything was fresh and flavorful and reasonably priced. We stopped here on the way from Yosemite to Tahoe. Such a cute old mining town...well preserved.

My husband and I own and operate a 5-star luxury bed and breakfast in Sonora and pay a lot of attention to detail in our business. We usually dine in Murphys when we get a free second, but this time we were passing through Angels Camp and decided to try Sidewinders. We are so thrilled that we did! We sampled... More

The owners must have listened to the complaints and have returned to their delicious salads. Great place to have a fresh salad/taco. Only recommendation would be to have more wine selections.....not everyone likes to have a beer.

The place is located in a historic building which lends charm to eating here. It is somewhat like Chipotle's where you order at the counter and the food is Mexican style. My husband and I both ordered their burritos but with different meat filling. They were quite large...I couldn't eat all of mine. We also ordered Beer Battered Fries that... More

After reading other reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to check out Sidewinders while in Angels Camp and were glad we did. You go up to the counter...order your food...and it is delivered to your table in no time....and is DELICOUS. The Barbicoa Baocadillos melt in your mouth. The historic building is charming. What's not to like? Washing it down... More

This has been one of our favorite places. They made some changes, ie the beans were the worse I've ever eaten. I asked the friendlt clerk what they did to the beans. She said they make them now. We told her they were very bland. She said she'd pass it along. The other complaint we had is that there was... More

We were looking for a fairly quick meal, but not the typical fast food. We ordered the Burrito and it was a good as burritos get, with several options to build the burrito of your choice. Personnel were very friendly and the place was clean with fitting decor for the old mining town of Angels Camp. We definitely would return.

A great place to grab a quick lunch in historic old town Angels Camp. Right on Main Street in a gold rush era building. The food is CA-Mex and is really good. Portions are very ample.
