Love this place...she piles it on High!...you get your monies worth there at Sarah's!.....support the "Local" business woman and go get yourself some excellent ice cream!

Just returned from a trip up the 5 in northern CA. Sarah's Creamery is a little ice cream place just off the 5 (watch out-directions send you the wrong way in some cases) but it is only a block off the freeway. Not sure what happened from my first visit but, the filling in the pasties is now authentic English - BORING and uninspired. Its bland, like the spice is gone. Sarah is very welcoming and will remember you when you make your next visit. I believe this started out as an ice cream shop and she expanded when someone told her about "pasty" pies, which are made of meat and potatoes. Yum! If you crave the meat pies made famous by the Cornish miners and/or have been to Grass Valley California or the Upper Peninsula of Michigan - I have found the place to fight the crave.
