This is a good dining place for kids. For adults, not so much. They have the characters greeting the kids at their table. Prices are high with limited food selection.

They have characters walking around and little shows going on, so it's a great experience for kids. Breakfast is $30 per person and average at best. Service is very slow and even though it is a buffet, you have to ask and wait for toast, jam, etc..

I grew up going to Disneyland all my life, being Annual Passholders for a handful of those years. Normally, when our family goes to DL, we have one "special" meal at one of the various Disney restaurants. Usually our choice is Goofy's Kitchen (which we absolutely LOVE), but thought we'd try something different. When we walked in and up to... More

Chip & Dale, Tico and Brother Bear come everyday for breakfast. The breakfast buffet has lots of delicious choices, but is expensive. There is no way our 5 yr old ate $20 worth of food.

We visited Storytellers Cafe for the Critter Breakfast the first morning of our trip in November. We were seated very quickly and we headed straight to the buffet before characters arrived. They had a large selection of hot and cold breakfast items, fruit, pastries and most importantly Mickey Waffles! When we returned to the table our server, Brett, had already... More

Had breakfast here twice. Given the other options in the hotel (e.g., room service) the $30 per person charge is not outrageous. Moreover, the buffet has a good variety of food -- including cooked to order omelettes, and eggs Benedict. Also had Posole -- an usual offering, but very good. All of the food was outstanding and fresh. Had an... More

Nice alternative to goofy's kitchen for a character breakfast! I much prefer storytellers in terms of atmosphere and design but the characters were equally as great and it's wasn't super crowded like the last time we went to goofy's kitchen. Food was delicious and the characters were awesome, different than those you'd typically see at the parks, like Briar Bear,... More

We went to the Storyteller's Café, expecting to order off the menu, but decided that the dinner buffet ($29.99) was a better deal. The buffet was somewhat limited, but everything we chose was delicious. The bread brought to the table was amazing (a homemade brioche-type bread and yummy corn muffins...so good!) and there was actually more than enough butter (rare... More

My family and I went to the Storyteller Cafe for dinner during a recent trip to Disneyland. One person got the buffet and three others ordered off the menu. The buffet food was cold and it took about 40 minutes for those who ordered off the menu to get our food. You'd think a resteraunt like this would be able... More
