Went for dinner for 4. Service good. Turkey and sirloin on buffet good. Chicken tenders and Mac & cheese not good. Lack of variety. Buffet $28.99/person.

This café is on the Grand Californian property. It is very nice inside and you may even find Disney characters frequenting the place while you eat. There is a menu or the option of a buffet. The buffet offers a wide variety of foods but there is a price for all of the options. At $39 it is on the... More

My Daughter & her BF had the New York Steak & I had the buffet. Food was hot, tasty and seasoned well. Reasonably priced and worth visiting. We dined during the PM hours so we did not expect to experience the Disney Characters.

Totally enjoyed the food and the fun at this character breakfast at the Grand Californian Resort. Chip and Dale, Meeko and Koda were all fun to have visit our table. The camp counselor was hilarious. Take teh kids and have some fun!

Storytellers cafe is a fun-filled restaurant with plenty of funny Disney characters who interact with families. At the buffet line, you are sure to find something you will like. Children will enjoy meeting Chip 'n Dale, Keenai and Koda (from "Brother Bear"), and Meeko (Pocahontas' raccoon). Overall, it is a great place for family dining. It is a bit on... More

We went to this place because we were staying at the hotel, and because we are big fans of dining in Disney restaurants. This place was an uncharacteristic disappointment for us. Slow service, mediocre food, big price tag. Far superior options in Downtown Disney or in the park itself. You could have an excellent meal at the Blue Bayou or... More

We really enjoyed a great early lunch here. The cheddar soup was amazing and we felt we got a great meal for the price we paid. Service was exactly what Disney service is supposed to be.

Usually I won't eat at a buffet. But this one is a must, the Mickey waffles and made to order waffles are fabulous! It is little people friendly with Disney magic all around them. Specialty coffee too!

We were staying at the Grand Californian Hotel. Over $500 a night for standard room. The Storytellers Cafe is on site and look like a great place to continue the magical experience of Disneyland. We arrived towards the end of the lunch service. I ordered a Turkey Club. Chips were COLD on the plate. Toasted sandwich was COLD too. Who... More
