Overpriced but good breakfast

They had a good breakfast buffet, so if you are looking for a quick and easy breakfast for you and your family, this is a good place to go (it's on the way to the California Adventure hotel enterance), so its a good first stop on your way to the park. The kids loved the disney characters that come... read more

Beautifully appointed decor, with a nod to the history of California, fittingly enough, as it offers ready access to California Adventure, dining at the Storytellers Cafe should be part of any Disneyland experience. The buffet is exceptional, with selections that should satisfy most any pallette. I'm someone who believes in not spending too much time eating while visiting a Disney... More

If you have children or grandchildren you'll always remember the way their faces light up when the Disney characters entertain them. If only I was a child again.....

We loved this character experience and meal during our stay at the Grand Californian. It is an expensive experience, but we knew this would be our only trip across country to Disneyland, so we made the most of it! The service was wonderful and our family of 5 all enjoyed the buffet. The character visits were also fun and plentiful.

I love buffets! And if there is ice cream for dessert even better. Rona a nice lady was greeting guest around the buffet area. She was tell us there was ice cream. Wow!!! The bread pudding with vanilla made it the perfect dinner. my server Vicente was amazing made me feel at home the very second he came to my... More

The restaurant is fun! You dance with the characters. And it is the only buffet with Brother bear ( they were so funny) and meeko. They serve alcohol for the adults. And the buffet had lots of choices. I do think u need to experience it at least once after the kids have seen the 2 Disney movies.

Outstanding Disney service. Good food, especially for kids. Reasonable value dinner buffet. Breakfast is quite expensive, but you do get Disney characters visiting your table for photos!

It's not one of the crazier character dining places- which is good. It is a nice dinner restaurant too- the last time my daughter ordered off the kids' menu- they could make their own pizza- putting the sauce and toppings on... We always enjoy eating here.

We went for a late lunch and were disappointed that there would only be a couple characters coming by. They weren't the princesses or recent movie characters either. The food is MUCH better than Goofys Kitchen. As with all Disney sit down restaurants, it's very pricey!

I have been there several time for lunch and we wanted to try the buffet at dinner on our last night there. surprisingly Disney was not that busy that day and the restaurant was also not busy. the food was good and had good flavour, the selection was not as good as I would have liked but adequate. however some...
