Pricey but worth it

We loved the evening buffet. There were no characters, but the food was very nice, and it was a very pleasant break after a long day of travel. We enjoyed chatting with our waitress, who was from Japan.

We took our grandchildren here for dinner one night, and give their parents a break to go to Napa Rose. It was pretty empty on a Tuesday evening, so there were no lines at the buffet, and the staff was very prompt at removing plates and bringing drinks. The kids had fruit, mac and cheese, and chicken nuggets - so... More

This might have been the highlight of our Disneyland trip. The Character Breakfast was awesome. The characters were so great with my boys and the restaurant wasn't overly crowded so every table got plenty of attention from the characters. The look on my kids faces when Chip and Dale arrived at our table was priceless! Oh, and the buffet was... More

The breakfast buffet is fast and tasty. Not cheap but will fill you up in a short amount of time if you want to get into the parks first thing. And the mickey waffles are a must try! The buffet also has a great personalized omelet station.

Don't expect anything extraordinary, but the food was good, plentiful and fresh. Yes there are characters for brunch. Don't have a business meeting here, duh. I laugh at some of the reviews who wrong that up! Average food, good service. Disney prices.

For those with children or for the child at heart. Have breakfast here, and dine with Disney characters from several generations of cartoons. The food is traditional American style breakfast, and is hearty enough to keep you going all day at Disneyland. Have a Magical Day! Exploretraveler

The $30 dinner buffet at Storyteller's Café has been a family tradition ever since the Grand Californian Hotel opened up. During a Spring Break stay here, we opted for dinner once again. The prices on the regular dinner menu nearly match the price of the dinner buffet, so as long as you are hungry, why not? The selection of entrees... More

Good menu options plus a buffet offered at breakfast and dinner. Services is pleasant but doesn't know the menu well. One of the quieter places you'll eat while at Disneyland and DCA.

It's about $30-$35 per person but you have disney characters running around, kid songs & person that will have them dancing with other kids. I was there for a tradeshow and my co-worker and I went around 7:30 before it was too crazy & it was nice and mellow, they have an omelette station which was cool and lots of... More

We ate there for lunch. The breakfast buffet was quite pricey but the lunch menu was reasonable. the food was excellent. The service was delightful and the atmosphere fantastic. It was a hidden gem in our trip to Disneyland. We found it via Downtown Disney location map.
