Fun and Quiet Dinner

I really enjoyed our meal here. My son got the make your own pizza that comes on a mickey shaped tray. Really fun atmosphere. Feels like your eating at a really nice lodge restaurant. We expected the rides to have long lines - but we waited in the buffet line for 20 minutes - which was longer than it took us to get into "Small World" and many other rides. Overpriced and not worth the wait

We stayed at the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa and found ourselves eating here quite a bit both for location and quality. Our first night we had dinner at Storyteller's and it was a great experience. Our waiter was amazing and loves his job. In the evening, Storyteller's has both a Buffet and a full menu. They also have a... More

Fruit was tasty, yogurt and granula were spot on. I loved the smoked salmon and its accompaniments. My husband went with the eggs and other traditional breakfast items. Staff was attentive and the Song of the South critters entertained us as we were eating and while we watched their interaction with other groups. Enjoyed it very much. Pricey possibly for... More

Having a character breakfast was on my 'must do' Disney list and I was a bit underwhelmed. I found it over priced for the quality and selection. The entertainment and sing along was worth the visit though. Who doesn't love doing the Hokey Pokey with Chip N Dale with their children? My four year old loved it!

My family chose to eat here since we were already in DCA. Located in Grand California Lodge in DCA it's a nice touristy spot for a sit down dinner. They offered a buffet with salmon, roasted chicken and prime rib roast. The salmon was a bit buttery. However, my husband and kids liked the Prime rib roast. Not too many... More

We ate here on a Tuesday evening. I had the catch of the day and the corn chowder. My husband had the 10 oz. streak. My fish was okay, just ok. The chowder was very creamy, but nothing special. My husband said he has had better steaks at a national chain steak house. Our server was pleasant but very slow.... More

We had the opportunity to eat here twice in the past week…. Last weekend we did a local staycation at the Grand Californian to celebrate our daughter’s 5th birthday and decided to treat our daughter to a character breakfast. The first visit was last Monday and Storytellers was closed for renovations so they used the space at Napa Rose for... More

This is a good character breakfast, especially for those luck enough to be staying at the Grand Californian, which is THE hotel to stay at for Disney. The characters are Chip and Dale, Bear and another character. If you are looking for Mickey, book at the character breakfast at the Disneyland hotel called Goof's Kitchen The best part is it... This is a good dining place for kids. For adults, not so much. They have the characters greeting the kids at their table. Prices are high with limited food selection.
