Great character buffet

Loved this restaurant. Character dining is fun and buffet choices were numerous and good tasting. $30 per adult is a little expensive but you are paying for the location and the character experience.

My friend treated my the Story Teller's Cafe for my birthday. We received the worst service. The family of 6 next to us had their meals before we got our waters and they were seated several minutes after us. The entire meal was like this, it was like pulling teeth just to get a refill or extra butter. The food... More

Here's why I like Storyteller's Cafe: + Warm, cozy interior design. It's "Craftsman Style Meets Old West." Don't miss the detail near the ceiling. That level of engaging detail, skillfully executed, is a Disney signature. + The menu is varied and the food is excellent. Which is good, because we're not fans of a buffet. + My husband liked the... Food was amazing. Usually when I see a place that has a buffet I automatically think "mediocre" but everything at the buffet was delicious! The salmon, prime rib, and roast chicken was all cooked perfectly! It was pricey but compared to other restaurants in the Disney area it was pretty reasonable

They were busy, but there was no rap poor between the staff and the customer. The serving is small and looks like a production line meal. There are a lot of other eating places around with the same quality of food for a better price and atmosphere.

Nice little place for a quick snack. The waiters and waitresses were a little harried and impersonal

Went in May 2015 for the character breakfast. The food was surprisingly good for a character meal. Kids met Chip, Dale, Meeko from Pocahontas, and Koda and Kenai from Brother Bear. Sounds like Chip and Dale are the regulars and other animals rotate. Downfall is the price, but it is Disney and you are paying for the experience. Overall a... More

My wife just ordered a seafood cocktail, and I had the buffet--which was pretty much just an ordinary run of the mill buffet. Nothing stands out here just a place to eat quickly.

This cafe is located inside the Disney Grand Californian hotel, and is a great choice, not only for the food, but for the entertainment. Several Disney characters will attend to you, and love to take photos! The buffet is great (breakfast and dinner!), and the menu options are delicious as well. Worth the wait!

I prefer ordering off a menu and the choices are fresh and healthy. If you need a break from the park, this is a great option while remaining in the Disney theme experience.
