Paying for the entertainment

This is one of those Disney activities you want to do once or twice in your life especially if you have young kids. It really is just for the show and the experience. If money isn't a thing then go for it, it is fun and the kids have so much fun. The food isn't the best, but its decent.... read more

We booked a princess lunch. Ariel was beautiful and welcomed us at the entrance. Later, at lunch 4 more Disney princesses walked through the grotto and took pictures with every child at its table. Food was better than expected! When I ask my daughter what she liked most of the whole "Disney experience", her answer is: "Lunch with Ariel!"

I loved the food. The only good place we ate at Disney aside from the Blue Bayou, but 20$ cheaper. It was nice to meet princesses too. The princesses were pretty random, Ariel, (Obviously), Belle, Rapunzel, Cinderella, and Tiana, so it was nice to have a mix. I thought it was all going to be classic princesses. The staff were... We booked the pre- dinner for the World of Colour. We had to wait about 35 minutes until our table was available... What's the point of booking, when other people come in from the park with no booking and are given available seating straight away? The restaurant is decorated in an underwater theme but I do think they could do... More

We Are a couple visiting Disneyland and made reservations at Ariels Gratto along with getting the VIP preferred viewing ticket for the World Of Color show. The food was phenomenal, the staff was wonderful. It was totally worth the money ($45 per adult) highly recommended.

Fabulous food, great BOOK EARLY...this is NOT a walk-up restaurant. If you wish to partake in this wonderful adventure in dining, you must call Disney Dining and check availability for Ariel's Grotto UP TO A MONTH IN ADVANCE OF YOUR VISIT TO THE PARK. Park admission is REQUIRED to get to the restaurant. Bring your camera and autograph book...your table... More

My family of 5 frequents this restaurant whenever we go to DL. It's one of our favorites! The princess lunches/dinners are a great up close and personal experience for the kids

We were seated outside as a party of 11. The kids and I were disappointed because the princesses were not there. It was my fault for not checking. Luckily we had eater here for breakfast and lunch on other occasions and they were okay with it. Our server was great and very attentive to our large party. You get a... More

We made a reservation before we left home for vacation, It was part of a dinner/world of color package. You don't watch the show from the restaurant , but you get a fast pass into a designated spot to watch the show. We considered this meal a treat to ourselves. The menu is a set price. You have a choice... More

Food was good and the princess interaction was nice. I did not know that there was outside seating which is where we got on a hot day. Ask for inside seating and you might even give this a 5 stars. Its not cheap but the girls love it.
