Good Dinner, No kids or Princesses.

We dined here as part of a Wonderful World of Color viewing package; dine here and get access to prime viewing area for the show. Where else can you eat delicious food, catering to both adult and child palates, and be visited at your table by no fewer than four Disney Princesses? And we’re talking top-tier here – Cinderella, Tiana, Jasmine, and Ariel herself. I’ll admit that Ariel’s Seafood Grotto is overpriced but really, this is Disneyland/California Adventure, so what isn’t? If you’ve never seen... More

If your children or grandchildren are the right age to appreciate it, the "character meal" at Ariel's Grotto, while expensive, is worth it. I wasn't sure at first, because even with a reservation (strongly recommended!) we had to wait a bit, and then it was a while before we saw any characters except Ariel, who greets guests. But the princesses... More

We had the character dining on our last day at Disneyland and California Adventures. It was everything, and more, than what I expected. The food was great!!!! Having many of the princesses come to your table to do a meet and greet, and take pictures, made it the best day for my daughter.

We arrived for our reservation 15 minutes early. I expected to wait a little. That wait ended up being over an hour while watching others arrive after and seated before. Finally taken down stairs to meet Ariel, but she wouldn't sign autographs, told she doesn't. I'm a long time Disney tourist, yes, Ariel signs everywhere else. We watched others seated... More

We booked this restaurant for the world of color package. We were seated on time and got a fabulous table outside on the patio. Server was nice, drinks and starters arrived promptly. The menu had yummy choices for adults and kids but when everything arrived it was cold. We don't normally complain but with an expensive dinner I expect a... More

We spent 4 days at Disney this April. We were on a tight budget and were unsure what to budget for our character dining experience at Ariels Grotto, prices arent posted anywhere so it was hard to budget. It ended up costing our family of 2 adults and 4 children under 6 $200. I found the characters rushed through which... More

Liked the experience but once with the five year old girl might be enough. Photo with Ariel and all the Princesses as they came to your table. Food and service excellent. Felt a little rushed as they had the next group ready for their tables.
