Good food, good fun in Downtown Disney

So most important, there's some really good Cajun food here. BBQ Shrimp & Grits, Jambalaya both highly recommended. Their Cajun Bloody Marys are awesome, get two. The piano player is pretty good with his New Orleans tunes and overall, the place has a really good vibe. In the summer, you want to... read more

On the property of Downtown Disney, the Jazz Kitchen looked like a resturant found in New Orleans. Short wait for a table on a Thursday night. Service was incredible. Menu was awesome. I had the Soup 1-1-1--a sampling of their 3 soups. They were all excellent. Everyone is my group loved their meal! The piano player was great, just a... More

We made reservations 1 mo. in advance and requested an indoor table. We arrived 5 mins before our reservation and the hostess told us the inside was full and we had to sit outside. This was a bummer since they had live jazz that night and we wanted to listen to it while having our dinner. A mgr. came to... More

Great Creole food. The gumbo is fantastic. I always enjoy the jambalaya. The atmosphere really transports you to the French Quarter

I had a business dinner here. Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen is located in the Streets of Disney with a New Orleans French Quarter type atmosphere. They have both inside and outside seating. I had a beef dish, but the seafood dishes looked like better choices. Save room for dessert - the beignets and bananas foster prepared tableside were very good.... More

I thought this restaurant was ok. The prices are quite high, and the portions weren't as large as I was hoping. I don't know if any of their entrees are shareable, even for two skinny people who don't eat very much. I asked the waiter how hot the jambalaya was, and he said their entrees are not "traditional" in the... More

Came here for Sunday Brunch. I had the Chicken & Waffles. It was billed as a savory dish. I didn't care much for it and I love Chicken & Waffles. On the other had I also had a Bloody Mary, it was well seasoned and spiced perfectly. They had a duo in the restaurant playing New Orleans Jazz which was... More

Service was poor. It took our waiter forever to take our drink orders, and then our food orders. It was over an hour from sitting down to getting our food. When we requested something from our waiter, it was forgotten more than delivered to the table. (Example: dropped fork, more water, extra napkins were all requested more than once) sitting... More

All I can say is the food and drinks are so so good. The portions are very generous. The plates are beautiful from salad to main entree to the dessert. The waiter was really good too. The live music is a plus, lovely band and lovely duet guys singing. The only thing that would be nice is if they would... More
