Dark tables but dramatically good food.

I always order chicken. That means I really know good chicken and it was excellent. Our server was prompt and kept our drinks filled. Run out of talk? Watch the boats from the Pirates of the Carribean glide by on their way to adventure. Order dessert. Linger a bit. Make reservations weeks in... read more

The atmosphere of this restaurant is worth the price of admission alone, but the food is equally up to the job. My wife and I always split the Monte Cristo and are never disappointed. You can request a table near the water. Do keep in mind that the travelers on the ride can be rowdy.

Arrived on time and placed our order you could tell the staff was distracted even though the restaurant was not packed. When the food arrived the waitress put in the order wrong and told us it would take awhile to fix. So someone went with out lunch ......and everyone gave them a portion of there lunch! Now this isn't the... More

Melissa was our excellent waitress. She was at our table immediately taking our drink order. She recommended the Salmon to me and I am so glad I got it as it was delicious. It has a Sweet Raspberry Sauce that is exceptional. Alison was her backup gal and she was very quick to refill our water glasses. We had lunch... More

Had reservations along with Paint the Night passes. Food was good however extremely expensive. We to designated area for parade, found we were sitting on the ground. If you are going to charge extra for reserved seatin, have area set up 3 hrs ahead of parade and fork over some chairs! Some of us have hips the won't let you... More

This is something fun to do, even if it's just to say that you did it once! The atmosphere is so cute, since you're basically right in part of the attraction (Pirates of the Caribbean). The food is a bit pricey, but is delicious.

Ambiance is really what you're paying for, but the food is still pretty darn good. Of course the Monte Cristo sandwich is over the top good, but the gumbo was fabulous too. This was a special lunch for my granddaughters and they really enjoyed it. I just didn't let my husband see the bill!

Blue Bayou is a restaurant I grew up wanting to experience. I finally got to visit with my family of 5, at the age of 40.You float past the eating area while on the Pirate's of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland. As you eat, you can watch the "fireflies," listen to the bayou sounds and watch the rafts float past.... More

First trip away in YEARS as our nest is mostly empty with the youngest off to college now. So, when my husband had a business trip conference at Disneyland, I was in being originally from the west coast. Living near Disneyland as a child, popping over in the evening, much easier 40 some years ago on "ticketed rides" than it... More

The good part is... I enjoyed the atmosphere, the boats going by, the salmon, the corn bread, and the drinks with the floating lights in them. The bad is... my husband on the other hand wasn't so keen on people staring at him from the boats while he was eating, or our sarcastic waiter who was trying to be funny... More
