Not for Those in a Hurry

Great food, typically about 30% pricier than necessary. The view of Pirates of the Caribbean is worth the wait - which can be long at times. Try to make an advanced reservation if you can. Nice place to relax for a bit if you have the time.

Excellent service. Good but not great food at an inflated price. You pay for the ambience here. We have eaten here a few times but this time we decided is our last.

First off, make a reservation. Thankfully we did, and when it was time, we went right in while we overheard the check in agents having to turn guests away due to how booked they were. The food quality was fresh and flavorful. The chicken was extremely tender, seasoned well with a little New Orleans kick. The chicken gumbo was excellent,... More

We ate lunch here, expecting to be wowed. The food was good but not excellent, service was of course wonderfully up to Disney standards. We were not excited with our meal, but the service and company was excellent.

Second time eating here and it's still a great place. It's dark for sure but you are inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride! I had the Jambalaya which has a little kick to it but I still needed a few splashes of Tabasco for my taste. Decent portion with nice size chunks of sausage and chicken. The bread is... More

I have given Blue their last chance. Again on my last visit the menu had changed yet again! I had the toughest, grisle filled steak ever. The chicken had been changed to some fruity sauce creation instead of the Tesoro chicken. I don't think I will ever get over the loss of my short ribs. I really wanted this to... More

This has been a favorite restaurant of mine since I was a little girl. All the food I've tried is very good but my favorite, by far, is the Monte Cristo sandwich. It sounds weird; ham and cheese battered and deep fried served with jam, but it is amazing. But the thing that MAKES the Blue Bayou is the location.... More

The food was ok and they did have a vegetarian option but the seats close to the water were not really close to the water. My daughter has had gastric bypass and they were quick to offer her a child's menu and she only had the entree and the small desert but they charged us the adult meal price even... More

I love the Blue Bayou, but the cost of the food and the small selection of food to choose from make it so I don't want to go back. I think everyone should go at least once to experience the atmosphere, but after 10 yrs of going to Disneyland and visiting this restaurant several times, I'm ready to be done!... More
