Welcome, Brave Adventurers! Dock your tramp steamer at the cement shores of the Disneyland Hotel pool area and enter this mystical, interactive experience. Bold and unforgettable cruise-ine awaits at this tiki bar inspired by the world-famous Jungle Cruise. Trader Sam's - named for the "head" salesman of the Amazon — features some of the exotic wares he has collected over the years. But beware...he's always looking for a good trade.

A fun place to kick back for an afternoon....

Based on the TIki room from Disnayland next door this place is offers a good meal and drinks.... The pulled pork sandwhich was great as well as the poopoo platter (extra poo as the waiter put it .. :) ) and if you are lucky you may hit it during hurricane season... If you were in AdventureLand...this would be the place to stop and have a drink. Full bar with the best appetizers...full blown tiki decor..if the Tiki Room and the Jungle Cruise was mashed together.... The kids had fun....we had fun....the drinks were creative and tropical....wonderful place to sneak off too.... Draw back...very small.....but it added to the charm! This was... More

Thoroughly enjoyed this bar, hidden away from the crowds, and what a fantastic themed bar! I went all out and ordered the cocktails with souvenir glass, when in Rome as they say. A bit pricey but a lot of fun. A must see!

When I first went inside, the lights dimmed and there was a rainstorm just like the tiki room in the park. There were lots of cool drinks. Mine was yummy. Then a volcano errupted. There are so many hidden gems at Disney hotelsand this is one of them. This is the tiki room for grown ups.

Trader Sam's is a must on any Disney drinking itinerary. It is relatively small inside. The outside Tangaroa Terrace serves the same food and drinks, but inside is where the action is. Interesting Polynesian drinks, many served in exotic souvenir mugs. Everytime a special drink is ordered, there is a show, with lights, rain, horns, what have you. It's loud... More

This place is interesting.. tiny and next to a family casual dining area. Too small for any type of 'vibe' but could be fun with a group outside by the fire.. but for someone to say this was the highlight of their trip.. probably didn't have a good time overall.. wow!

We love Trader Sam's! It can get a little bit crowded on the weekends, so we try to go on a week night or "off" time but they have such great wait staff and awesome drinks that it's totally worth waiting even if you do have to wait. This is a great date place or place to meet friends from... More

This was a great bar! The servers were excellent and played their parts well. The drinks were expensive but not overly expensive for a theme park resort however they were delicious! If you are in the downtown disney area and what a drink this place is awesome! Check it out!

Hawaiian music, yummy drinks, awesome fish tacos! You can sit on the patio with the kids and they can also order food from next door at the quick service. You definitely need to check out the inside if you can. Adventure awaits!
