Welcome, Brave Adventurers! Dock your tramp steamer at the cement shores of the Disneyland Hotel pool area and enter this mystical, interactive experience. Bold and unforgettable cruise-ine awaits at this tiki bar inspired by the world-famous Jungle Cruise. Trader Sam's - named for the "head" salesman of the Amazon — features some of the exotic wares he has collected over the years. But beware...he's always looking for a good trade.

Fun in the tropical sun

It was hard to find, it was on the far side of the Disneyland Hotel. The bar was dark yet inviting, and the food and drinks were fantastic. We had shrimp tacos and the pupoo platter and all of their speciality drinks. The drinks came with a collectors cup. When our waitress Maritza brought our... read more

Go here all the time. Love, love, love it. If you are a tiki fan or a Disneyphile, this place is a MUST. I love the way they've incorporated stuff all over the walls and ceiling from "exotic" locales, as well as cheeky ties to the Jungle Cruise, Indiana Jones, the old Explorer's Club in Orlando, and of course, the... Having read about this restaurant online I thought it sounded good so decided to try in out in November. It was kind of dark inside but the walls and ceiling were full of pictures and Tiki faces and random other bits and bobs which made it interesting. While we were there a few people ordered the specialty drinks and there... More

Stopped here a couple of nights, as it was the only bar open late in the area. Zombie drinks were excellent, service was very friendly, and the live entertainment was very good. I highly recommend this if you're looking to hang out in a casual atmosphere in the Disney area.

The Trader Sam's Bar is one of the coolest things that Disney Imagineering has done in ages - as a Disney fan, and as a fan of strong drinks, it made quite the impression on our group during our visit. The motif is all tiki/explorer's club, with some pretty good drinks that range from classic to slightly gimmicky (i'm looking... More

Tried to go to this bar on a Thursday night. While it is Disney and you are used to waiting, this was a bit over the top. Were in line to get in and once we were allowed to enter after 15 mins, there was no seats available. Seemed weird that you could go in, but not sit down. Got... More

I Love the Tiki Room and Walt wanted to make it into what Tader Sams is, His version of Trader Vics. Mai Tai was ono. But for fun order the shipwreck and watch the ship above the bar sink. Great intimate place as a Tiki Bar should be like Tiki Ti

If you are thinking you would like to eat or drink at the world famous Trader Sam's in the Disneyland Hotel be there when they open or you will never get a seat. It is a super small venue, but so cute. There is lots to see on the wall.

A little tropical flare in the heart of Disney. We had breakfast here one morning and appetizers later that evening. The food was onolicious!
