I've been here twice over the last 6 years or so. Once with my wife and our two older kids. Now they are grown and so my wife and I revisited on a trip to the park this month. The food is pricey, I'll admit. Dinner for two, plus a dessert (extra cost) and tip was $80. But it's such... read more

We booked here for an 1130 lunch based on the tripadvisor reviews and glad we did! We were seated promptly at our own picnic table and were served unlimited beverages (nice at DLR). For lunch you get BBQ ribs, chicken, a citrus flavored coleslaw, bbq beans and cornbread. They bring you each one in a bucket and it is all... More

Glad that we were able to experience the ranch before it's set to close in December. The food was fantastic and the serving staff was very friendly and accommodating.

It's in Disneyland, and Disneyland doesn't mess around. What it is: Barbeque chicken, pork ribs, and (for dinnertime only) sausage. The sausage is actually probably the weakest link (sorry) here, as it's basically just kielbasa. The pork ribs are meaty. I didn't personally try the chicken (I don't really care for chicken) but my wife really liked it. The price,... More

I was so sad to recently find out that Disneyland is closing this place for good. Not sure why they are not simply moving it, when its the best place to eat in the park..... quite honestly the only decent place. They have some of the best BBQ I have ever had, the meat just comes right off the bone.... More

This place rocks the socks off of most of the dining places. Set price for all you can eat--One of the best deals at Disney, especially if adults and children have hefty appetites. (Our party included my husband and I, our 23 year old son, 21 year old daughter, our never-stop-eating 15 year old, and our eat-like-a-bird 7 year old.... More

Although this restaurant was more pricey than where we usually eat at Disneyland, it is all-you-can-east, and the food is fantastic. Live entertainment, very quiet relaxing atmosphere, by reservation only, so they don't over-book, or crowd people in. We just discovered this delicious restaurant this trip, and it will be gone (I believe) by February 2016, so eat here before... More

As I stated, One of the Main reasons we came down to Disneyland, as it is closing down permanently in January to start clearing the area for The new Star Wars themed land. Walt is rolling over in his grave, let me tell you. The food, the aura, and service at Big Thunder Ranch is one of a kind. We... More

This is great! I made reservations before hand on line. It is best to have late lunch or early dinner around 5pm... Then you will also get the corn in the cob.. Food is delicious... You will for sure lick you fingers! Usually the have live music which makes it even better... Unfortunately it seems they are closing this restaurant... More

Fixed price meal in a ranch-type setting. Each meal for lunch includes family-style serving of chicken, ribs, beans, coleslaw and cornbread. Service is friendly and quick and the atmosphere is like being out on a ranch, with big tables surrounding a stage where performers sing country songs. If your party is small you might be seated with another family at... More
