Made a 10:40 AM character breakfast reservation at the Plaza Inn. Checked in at 10:40 and promptly took a photo and autographs with Minnie. By the time we were sat at our table it was 10:50 and I went to grab our family of four...food from the buffet while characters started coming to our table. Dale, Tigger, Pluto and the mouse from Cinderella came over to our table and took photos while we were eating. Then, around 11:20, the characters starting disappearing and they started to put away the breakfast food (lunch starts at Noon and I thought this was early). Unfortunately, we didn’t get to meet Chip and Winnie the Pooh while also not getting much food. My daughters convinced us to go to Critter Country and wait an hour to meet Winnie the Pooh afterwards. We had great character dining experiences at Storytellers at Grand Cal which I would easily recommend over what happened at the Plaza Inn.More

I was hesitant at first paying such a lot for a “Breakfast with the Characters” experience but wow was it worth it. My daughter absolutely loved it and was grinning from ear to ear. The breakfast itself is ok but not great. Plenty of room...for improvement in the food itself. The service was also terrible - I asked for a coffee explaining that I had a toddler and did not want to leave her at the table alone and whilst the breakfast was advertised as self service I didn’t think the drinks would be - I was told to get it myself! Waitress service barely visible and expected better for the price. The characters however are wonderful, they came to our table several times. Certainly the highlight of the day at Disneyland for my daughter and I’m glad that I did it!More

My adult daughter and I met in Anaheim to go to Disneyland for a mother daughter weekend. She is a former Disney college program participant and is a self proclaimed Dis-Nerd so a character breakfast in the park was definitely on our to do list....We are used to California where you get 4 characters but we got Minnie, Pluto, Pooh, Tigger, Chip & Dale, Max, and Cinderella’s mice, Perla & Suzy. We were impressed! It’s a little crowded with the buffet and people getting up and down to see the characters but it was really fun. And the characters were really entertaining and engaging so that made it a really nice experience! Had our photo taken with Minnie when we got there so that was an added bonus! Food was standard Disney breakfast buffet but there was plenty to choose from and it was really good! A little pricey but I always consider making reservations for a sit down meal a bonus because you gotta eat and you get a nice place to land to rest and sometimes to keep dry!More

Wow amazing!! We did this tour and were able to meet and get signatures for 9 characters within an hour. The food was incredible, we had omelettes, waffles, fruit/pineapple, the variety of drinks was great also. Would highly recommend this breakfast with the characters.

I have been looking forward to having lunch here for several weeks upon learning their fried chicken is what to get. Earlier today (Thursday August 3), we finally had a chance to know firsthand if it’s any good or if it was just hype. It...turns out, the chicken was not just good, it’s so good, I’m still thinking about it!More

We ate dinner here June 30, 2023. We had the Salmon dinner and Chicken dinner, side salad, and strawberry dessert. It was all delicious! Once again a wonderful meal.

This was one of the worst Disney experiences we’ve had at our numerous trips to Disney (world and land). We went for the character breakfast. The characters were great and did not disappoint. However, the food and service did disappoint. One of the servers was...rude to my son and others when they came through her line. When he didn’t say what he’d like to have fast enough for her she said “HELLO?” To him. She said something snarky to another guest, too. I also had a hair in my hashbrowns. The food was just so-so. We’ve had a lot of great Disney experiences through the years and this was not one of them. We did speak to the manager and he was kind and apologetic which we appreciated. Overall, we’d say Disneyworld provides the best experiences all around verses Disneyland. But I still expect better from this pricey restaurant!More

Whenever we go to Disneyland, we treat ourselves to Breakfast with the Characters at the pink and white restaurant, Plaza Inn, on Main Street in Disneyland just before the Sleeping Beauty Castle. In the past we would just drop in for breakfast, but now must...make a reservation . We are visiting in June 2023 and through the Disneyland App, I was able to reserve a breakfast . It’s expensive, but for what you get, I feel it’s worth it. For adults, it will cost you about $50 and slightly cheaper for the kids. You get an all you can eat breakfast, such as Mickey Mouse waffles, omelets, fruit, bacon, sausage, eggs , juices, chocolate milk, coffee etc… Every single table gets visited by many of the characters such as Winnie the Pooh and gang, Chip and Dale, Captain Hook, Minnie Mouse, Rafiki, Fairy godmother, and some others. Get out your camera and autograph books. Breakfast is the only time where you can dine with the characters . I hear they serve tasty meals, such as fried chicken , mashed potatoes or pot roast at lunch and dinner, but without the characters.More

Food is meh. It's about the characters- and it's overpriced. I really think they can do better. They don't have toast or bagels. Thats' so basic - especially with kids! Characters come to table and take pics. That's the highlight.

If you have a small child who loves Minnie Mouse, this is a great place to eat. When you enter, you get to meet Minnie and get a picture taken with her. My daughter was very happy! Other characters we met were Daisy, Tigger, Winnie...the Pooh and Chip and Dale. Food was good and it was a nice place to eat in the park.More

It is Disney, so everything is expensive. But the food was good and filling. We were fortunate to get in as walk-ins. Dining opportunities are scarce, so take what you are able.

OK - so I used to think the fried chicken could not possibly be worth it her and I was wrong. It's $20 for a fried chicken plate - but it's a lot of chicken so it fed two of us and it really is...AMAZING fried chicken. We ate every scrap - so tasty. The green beans were not good but the mashed potatoes were. Now this fried chicken is on my must have list of food to get every time I visit Disneyland. Wow - if you like fried chicken then you really must try it here.More

At the turnstiles, where your ticket will be scanned, one of them will say "Character Breakfast" at the top, it's usually the one on the west (closest to parking structure/ side.
