Great Food & Service

Great food and fresh seafood. We ordered the Sashimi appetizer, Lobster Tail, Lump Crab Cake & Teppanyaki Shrimp, the Seared Barramundi. This kids had the burger and the Mac & Cheese. We were served quesadilla for the kids that we did not order but it did not show on the bill. When we asked, they... read more

This restaurant is pricier than we usually go to on holiday; but I recommend it for a taste treat, especially if you like seafood (there are excellent non-seafood options that we enjoyed though).

We sat at the bar and ordered from main dinner menu. If you want a sit-down table, a reservation is mandatory unless you are prepared to wait 45-60 minutes.

After a day's activities at the Universal Studio, we returned to the hotel quite late at around 8:00pm. We were a group of 20 family friends and some of us suggested to have steaks for dinner. We called Morten's but they couldn't house us due to almost full booking. On recommendation of our local friend we tried Roy's and the... More

Called in a last minute reservation for my friend and her family who stopped into town. The host who answered the phone was very courteous and reserved seats for us. When we got there upon an early arrival we were seated in no less than 5 minutes. The kids were treated like kings and queens there. They were served complimentary appetizers... More

We came here for my birthday which my husband arranged. The service was fantastic! Once we arrived at the restaurant , the host already knew our reservation was for my birthday. I was so impressed about their excellent service and they made me feel like a real b-day girl! So many nice special arrangements with special touches by the restaurant.... More

This is normally a very good restaurant with good food and excellent service. We went for my son's birthday on a Sunday night. We all ordered fish, which is normally excellent, but was not this time. Two in our party ordered the Opah and I got the Mahi Mahi. The waitress said that the chef recommended that the fish be... More

I ended up eating here twice in one week with colleagues. This is what they call Hawaiian fusion food. I have only been to Honolulu for 24 hours so it's not like I know Hawaiian cuisine, but this just seemed like a seafood-Japanese-any fusion to me. If that's what Hawaiian is, then I'll go with it. There is a lot... More

Visited with a party of 9 colleagues and although arriving 40 mins early we were very welcome and invited to take drink in the bar whilst our booking was brought forward. At first glance the menu was a little confusing, but once we understood the layout the choice was very tempting. All my colleagues opted straight for a main course... More

I truly was glad that I made the effort to go to Roy's. I have wanted to visit one as I never made it there when I vacationed in Hawaii. The food and service were so memorable. Our server, Debbie, knew the menu and wine list well. She treated our children as special guests and even had their name written... More
