Good food in pleasant surroundings if a little pricey!

Visited with a party of 9 colleagues and although arriving 40 mins early we were very welcome and invited to take drink in the bar whilst our booking was brought forward. I ended up eating here twice in one week with colleagues. This is what they call Hawaiian fusion food. I have only been to Honolulu for 24 hours so it's not like I know Hawaiian cuisine, but this just seemed like a seafood-Japanese-any fusion to me. If that's what Hawaiian is, then I'll go with it. There is a lot... More

I truly was glad that I made the effort to go to Roy's. I have wanted to visit one as I never made it there when I vacationed in Hawaii. The food and service were so memorable. Our server, Debbie, knew the menu and wine list well. She treated our children as special guests and even had their name written... More

I have visited the Roy's in Kona several times, it is one if my favorites. While in Anaheim I suggested the family join me there. We absolutely loved it. Service was amazing, food was incredible. Macadamia crusted Mahi Mahi was the best. If you are looking for a killer meal in the Disneyland area, don't miss Roy's. Great for the... More

Roy's has a wonderful decor, very festive and interesting. Our server, Chris, was charming and helpful. Roy's has a great seafood menu. We really liked our choices, plates were beautifully presented and delicious. We would like to go back.

I had the most monster steak with truffled mac and cheese on the side. It was absolutely to die for. The steak was monstrous and so delicious. The drinks were delicious and creative (try the jalapeno mojito) and the staff gave the business a very high class feel. I felt like a rockstar eating here. Definitely a must go if... More

I sat I the bar and ordered the Seared Ahi and the ribs appetizer in the bar. The Ahi was incredible! The ribs appetizer was heavily seasoned and just ok. The house Cabernet was just worth the $8.00. I did have a glass of the Justin Cabernet and it was really good but, spendy. Stick with the seafood and you... More

Have tried Roy's Maui, Honolulu, SF, San Diego, and Anaheim. Each one is different! All excellent chefs. Anaheim is a bit noisy, but not excessive. Excellent fresh food nicely plated and served. Tables far enough apart for privacy even though the place is always packed. Make reservation. Great fish. Excellent appetizers. Super desserts. We go again and again and again...

I went for a walk to see what my dinner options were, and Roy's caught my eye - I'm usually game for trying something new, and I have never had Hawaiian Fusion food before. I walked in wanting to look at a menu. One of the servers held the door open and greeted me - very nice touch, especially when... More
