I spent about five hours there three days ago writing a grant. The wait-staff were super friendly and helpful, but did not intrude on the patrons. The shop has plenty of somewhat mismatched seating. The coffee was good--i think you primarily would come for the friendly vibe though.

A neighborhood gem. The locals know it. Relax, drink coffee or tea, munch on home made, delicious real food. And Bonus: listen to Fantastic, live music most nights, in the ultra intimate, super sound quality, high production value, Back Stage Concert room ($15 to $20 per seat).

best coffee around and Jeff makes awesome breakfast and lunch on weekdays. Free wifi and free community/meeting room.
