Love the food, Hate the Wait

I love seafood...and for this I love the Boiling Crab. But I now refuse to wait over an hour for a packed restaurant because it can get messy there and there are just too many people so it gets pretty loud...I don't care for that much noise...Personal choice of mine. What I do is I order takeout... read more

Be ready to wait a long time...most days is packed, you need to go at random times or take it to go. The place is super fun, they dont give you plates to eat, only some bibs. Shrimp are great, also crab legs and oysters. Friend chicken is pretty good and also the sweet fries. If you don't like seafood,... More

So yummy. Worth the wait. We loved the Cajun and lemon pepper shrimp. Also good is the snow crab legs and calamari. Also don't miss the Cajun fries.

I am from the east coast and in the west coast for business. I ordered crawfish, shrimp, chicken wings, and seasoned potatoes fries. Compare to crawfish and shrimp from New Orleans , this place need to learn how to make the seasoning like they do. There is no way they call cajun seasoning. The corn on cob was too much... More

Long wait sometimes so hopefully you're not starving. Takes like an hour or more to be seated BUT it's worth it. The food is super delicious and not expensive! It's a super casual environment and wearing bibs makes it a fun experience. Love this place!

My wife wanted to go to this place because she is a crab junkie. Me, not so much! First you need to be prepared for their very casual style. Crab, shrimp and lobster are all served in a plastic bag, right on the paper covered table. No plate, no utensils, just napkins and a bib. It's a very messy and... More

Shrimp lovers unite here at this place please. Wonderful big flavorful shrimp, seasoned in your choice of seasonings. Good quality shrimp and great tasting! The heads are on the shrimp so be warned you must remove them yourself. Worth all of the work to enjoy the delicious spicy shrimp which by the way comes in many degrees of heat. Shrimp... More

Grungy. Loud. Lively. These are few of the words that come to mind when I think of The Boiling Crab. The place was recommended to me by my Uber driver. Man, I was NOT disappointed. The first thing you notice is, there's no cutlery. We ordered a lobster and a pound of shrimp and some Cajun fries and some Oysters.... More

Although allergic to crawling shellfish (crustaceans, such as the namesake of the place), I love the other fare. The fried oysters are delicious. The catfish is good. We also really enjoy (especially me) the corn on the cob with the choice of sauces for it..sometimes I forget that I came for the fish. The decor inside and the dining experience... More
