We had a delicious meal on our first night in the area. Wait staff was very accommodating - when we asked where we could purchase some staples for our stay, they said we could purchase a loaf of their wonderful bread and poured us a cup of milk to take for our morning coffee/tea. Food was great and the view,... More

The Ledford House is located just south of Albion. It is a French Cuisine. Lot's of tables for two. A great bar area where you can eat dinner if you want. Don't miss going there around sun set, as there is a nice deck area. Both the Restaurant and bar/deck have a great view of the ocean - as long... More

The fix prix menu is a wonderful meal. They service is attentive and friendly and will refill the bread basket with delicious homemade breads.

How have we missed this place for so many years? We've visited Mendocino several times in the past 15 years, but unfortunately overlooked this gem in Albion. Now that we've experienced their wonderful food, great cocktails (the bartender is a hoot and really knows her stuff), jazz trio, and magnificent view, we'll be back our next trip to CA.

Still one of the best and romantic dinner settings along the coast. The food and service continue to be top notch. Had a wonderful birthday dinner with complimentary champagne. The bread pudding is still the best.

We have dined once a year at Ledford for more than 15 years. The husband and wife team, Tony and Lisa, always put together a good, interesting and fun menu, with a gorgeous view to boot! We never miss a chance to visit Ledford.....

Another amazing meal here. I loved the lavender lemonade with gin and we all agreed the rose sorbet was the best we ever had. Bold flavors compared to some of the other local restaurants. Rich warming cassoulet, tender filet mignon were perfectly prepared. Vegan dishes by request.

Excellent service, very good food. Great atmosphere. We drove 50 miles, one way, for this dinner and it was well worth the drive.

We have eaten at the Ledford House on several occasions and note they have the best bread pudding dessert we have ever eaten. While the service was very good and we enjoyed listening to the piano player my fish entree had too much garlic in the sauce. So next time, we will probably look for a new restaurant to dine.

We have been there several times over the past three months. We have tried almost everything on the menu; however, nothing really stands out. The service is pretty good and the food is OK, but nothing you would really remember......or go back for. The mussels are fresh, as are the raw oysters, but a little overpowered by the sauce they...
