This lovely restaurant on the water in Alameda has excellentVietnamese food and is very popular for both lunch (get an outside table) and dinner (inside the large glass windows for Bay Area evening chill). The contest winner is the Pineapple and shrimp in crisp Noodle nest, served in a pineapple half. The BBQ lemongrass grilled dishes and the very garlicky... More

I love this place, start with the Saigon Martini, (coconut, lemon = yummy) next a appetizer (we like the calamari) and then for the main course so many good things to choose. (garlic basil noodles with shrimp or the pork chop). Dragon Rouge is right on the water so great location, you can't go wrong!

if you're a fan of garlic and the lingering taste/smell of garlic breath then this is the place for you! They rely heavily on garlic as their main flavor, we had order about 6 different dishes and none of them had any spice or herb flavors, all garlic. So much so that you really couldn't taste the food.

Love it for lunch, love it for dinner! Love the garlic noodles, scrimp rolls, clay pots, etc. Really like that it is an Alameda family restaurant.

Love this place, priced right for fresh ingredients. Get the mango salad, garlic noodles & can't pass up not the bouncing beef dish. So much to select and also have gluten free dishes.

Oct. 24, 2013: A Thursday Night 5:30p - 7:30p Arrived early evening (usually packed on Fri-Sat says my dinner companion who lives in Alameda). No problems parking tonight. Tonight it was not full even when we left. Asked the smiling & friendly hostess to sit us away from main area on a 4-top (even though we were only two)…No hesitation... More

We came here for my BF's mom's birthday. We had a party of 8. Arriving here around 6:30pm, the parking situation is a mess. Tight spots that were available farther away. We were at bit late, so we just passed up trying to find a hostess and just walked in and looked for our seated party. Found them no prob.... More

Terrific food-calamari was crispy and tender, spring roll tasty. Best clay pot I've had-catfish and vegetables. Tenderloin on watercress was tender and tasty. Dragon noodle with pork terrific. On top of it all, they offer brown rice. On our visit there was a large party with DJ on the patio so it was noisy. But the food was so good,... More

As a first time visitor for lunch, I found a large number of dishes that I wanted to try. I settled for the best selling garlic noodle pork dish. The pork was very tender, well flavored. The noodles were perfectly cooked. I also shared a combination appetizer that consisted of two different soft rolls and two egg rolls, all with... More

I made reservations for my husband's birthday dinner and we started out with Momma's Phantastic Roll with pork and hard boiled egg and prawn spring roll with the peanut sauce, both were delicious; then we ordered Dragon Fire Garlic Noodles not spicy, Sizzling Sea Bass and Bouncing Beef Tenderloin! All were tasty but the fish was a small portion. The... More
