My fav Chinese restaurant on Park St. Has old fashioned charm, look at the interior. Food is very tasty, good value especially their lunch special with soup. At times, there is a demo on how noodles is made. You will be surprise to hear the banging, seeing one strand into many may fine strands as the end result!! Check out... More

I love their handmade noodles. The chef makes it on-site. Sometimes you can see the chef swinging the noodles in the air while you wait for your food. It is quite entertaining. There is a good selection of vegetarian dishes. They are very accommodating. It is a small restaurant with limited seating though.

My daughter and son-in-law who live in Alameda have passed by this restaurant many times but had never tried it. Last Sunday we decided to take the plunge. In a nutshell, the food was very good. The ambience is not all that you could ask for - But if you are looking for good, fresh Chinese food this is the... More

Classic menu, properly prepared, not disappointments. What more could you want? There are fancier places, but is is a good, solid long-standing Chinese restaurant in downtown Alameda.

My wife has been getting her hair done for years at Tomo's, on Park Street in Alameda; for the last three months she has included a stop at the Ark Restaurant, a couple of doors down. She loves their wonton noodles (combination) soup. So we went together yesterday. Very nice neighborhood chinese place. Resist the rice plate lunch specials, and... More

Friendly owners, wonderful fresh homemade noodles and willingness on their part to tweek menu items to my personal tastes make this our go to restaurant for takeout or dining in. After 8 years of dining there, our favorite Chinese hands down.
