Food was awesome. We were a large party (of 9) so seated in the back, next to food prep area ("next to the kitchen"). Lot of clattering and banging. Would've been nice to sit outside on the patio but it was a bit chilly.

We have visited Tomatina many times on our visits to Alameda, and the pizza has always been excellent, but we viewed it as a very good pizza parlor. Now, with a makeover, it has become a restaurant that also serves pizza. It continues to be kid-friendly, but it has a more grown-up atmosphere. We were off to a good start... More

I am not a huge fan of chain restaurants, even small chains, but this place really does it for me. The outside patio is great on a warm night and we always love whatever we order. On top of that, the prices are VERY reasonable. Nothing I can complain about here.

Good pizza, they were running a special half-off on all bottles of wine. I had a partial and took the rest back to the hotel.

Nice outdoor seating in the rear. No dislikes, Piadines are my favorite also the chopped salad. Kid friendly (although no kids anymore!) Good pizzas too.

Poor pasta special, chicken with peas, couldn't eat. Pizza was very good. Nice patio with heat lamps.

I've been to the Alameda restaurant as well as their new location in San Mateo. San Mateo was far superior, primarily because we had much better service. The server in Alameda never smiled and was almost impossible to track down when we wanted to leave. We asked for balsamic vinegar to spice up a bland salad; he brought apple cider... More

My son and I stopped by for an early dinner. We had a dog and baby with us. The weather was nice and we ate outside. We were able to put the dog on the outside of the fence and still be close. We ordered the salmon special. It was fresh and perfectly cooked. I am looking forward to the... More

The college aged kids and I went for a quick dinner, but it took longer because we were sure there were enough servers. They finally waited on us and the food was good. Noisy kids around and not great atmosphere, but typical for Tomatino.
