The look of this place is the start of an amazing dining experience. Delicious cocktails, whiskey smash and the agave margarita are a couple of my favorites, and I have yet to find a better salmon than the one at speiskammer.

This was my first time eating at a true German Restaurant, I have had Beer, and Pretzels and Stuffed Cabbage before so just a touch of the food. Speisekammer has been on my list of dining adventures for quite some time. It was a true wonderful dining experience. We dined in July of 2015 and were out on the patio... More

Beer selection was good, food was tasty. Service could have been better. Should have sat at the bar. They put at a table big enough for eight.

It's not easy to find, but real German cuisine does exist in the United States and Speisekammer is here to prove it. Great beer selection; friendly, cozy decor; modern and antique beer mugs for sale and good, hearty German fare.

What a pleasant neighborhood restaurant to stop by mid afternoon for a dunkelweizen, doppelboc or marzen and a cold fish platter. Of course, you could opt for sausage or shnitzel, too! Their salads of pickled beets, red cabbage , cucumberand carrots should not be missed. You may get a side of three for $3.50 or a small for $5.50. The... More

Spieskammer is one of the best German restaurants in the Bay Area. The food is very authentic and is excellent. The schnitzel is perfect. The portions are so big, we often order a half portion (which is on thand that is enough. Good selection of entrees, wine and beer. On some nights there is live entertainment but we have never made... I ate here recently for dinner and was so pleasantly delighted with the whole experience. I didn't even know German food could be this good. I loved the outdoor seating also. I'll definitely be back as often as possible!

We went for an early Sunday dinner (6PM) and the outside patio was packed with people enjoying the warm afternoon. The four of us opted for a table inside where there was room. What we enjoyed most: * The stuffed cabbage rolls. * The saurkraut * The wide arrange of beers, ciders, ales, * The strudel The meat platter for... More

Have been to this restaurant several times and it never disappoints - always very tasty. Forgive the spelling - I love the Jagermiester - the pork was very tender with a wonderful mushroom sauce. The spatzel was great and the red cabbage brought out all the flavors. Also loved the German cucumber salad. My wife loved the cabbage rolls. The... More
