You must try the truffle fries

I prefer the Rock Wall Winery location to the Park St because of the great view of San Francisco. Order your food from the outdoor window, go inside to buy a glass of very good wine and back outside to enjoy the view. The menu changes daily. There are sandwiches, salads and pizzas . The food... read more

My sister said this place had some of the best sandwiches in Alameda, so we placed our orders & had them delivered to the bar next door so we could sit down. There was a bit of a wait & we got another person's order but no problem, we just switched them since nobody had started eating yet. My sister... More

Situated next door to the Rock Wall Wine Company, Scolari's offers great lunch options to go with a glass of wine. A line forms at the window; you pay first, and the food is then brought to your table (there's lots of outside seating looking across the water toward San Francisco). We had the truffle pate with crostini, and the... More

Went in a couple of days after they'd re-opened. Was hoping for some great take out. Ordered the Stromboli and some fries w/aioli. The fries were nice. We were underwhelmed by the Stromboli. Far from the best we've had. I'll try Scolari's again after I get over this disappointment, just to make sure.

Scolari's at Alameda Point, near the Alameda Ferry Terminal is a gem. Food is ordered from a take-out window and delivered to your seat. Great outdoor, comfortable sofas and umbrella tables, or bar typing seating, all facing San Francisco. Also a "dome" type structure with comfortable seating for cooler weather. Today, 90 degrees in Alameda, there was a nice sea... More

You order in their tiny place. They have fries covered with veggies which sounds weird but are yummy. You go to the Lucky 13 bar next door and Scolaris brings your food to the bar or the bars outside patio. Best burgers in Alameda and try the tater tots too.

Had 2 hours between business meetings in Alameda and needed some lunch. My fabulous assistant in Oregon sent me a recommendation of Scolari's. The very friendly and funny counter lady suggested their specialities of Stromboli and House Fries. Both were very tasty, very filling, and I'm sure very artery blocking! In addition, the cook, food prep, and customers were always... More

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. Wait, I feel like I'm forgetting something. Oh, yeah... AMAZING! The food is ridiculously good. If there's something on the menu that sounds weird to you, get that. Seriously. Order off the specials board. Have them deliver it to you at the bar next door and ask them what beer would be good with what your having.
