Quality, clean foods & ingredients that are super-delicious and well prepared. We both had a slice of quiche with salad both so uber-fantastic, cup of Taylor Maid Farms coffee (don't know which bean but it was yummy), and several of their baked oh-so-really-good sweet treats. Just go. You'll love it. We sat in the outdoor patio to eat. Two very... More

Love the location of this little place, on the corner in Alameda, you can watch sit and relax and watch what's going on out on the streets. Ordered the veggie sandwich, which was on a large, crispy roll and had gruyere cheese...AWESOME flavor! Large, but I managed to eat it all, the garlic flavor was so tasty and veggies cooked... More

I come here alone to do work or with friends for a coffee and a chat. The food is really good, always has a vegan/vegetarian option, creative drinks and good rotating artwork. When the weather permits, the back patio is lovely.

I really like this place, especially back in the garden. Very relaxing. Had sandwich before and it was good too. Arty, casual, relaxing neighborhood cafe.

It is the locals place to meet in the garden and do informal business for the independent worker who gets lonely with just their computer. Although ti is known for tea. I cheat and have a sangria or glass of wine.

Julie's is a wonderful neighbourhood tea/coffee shop in Alameda. I always make a point of stopping here when I'm in town -- I'd give it 4.5 stars out of 5. Julie's has a very homey feel with couches and tables dotting the premises. They have craft evenings once a week, so you can see people happily working away on knitting... More

Whether you're looking for a superlative breakfast like eggs, spinach, garlic, and cheese baked to perfection in a petite soufflee dish, a unique hot drink such as bergamot sage tisane, or a place to have an adult beverage ("happy hour" is titled "social hour" here), Julie's is the place to be in Alameda. We stopped by twice in less than... More

So much to love! A huge selection of hand-blended teas, herbs, and fair-trade coffee. A friendly, fast, intelligent staff. Tasty, reasonably healthy baked treats by Real Goods Bakery, and a really fab quiche, plus salads & soup. Great acoustics for live music on Tuesday nights (check the calendar). Drop-in craft nights on Thursdays. A rotating gallery of interesting local art... More
