Great place for Asian tapas. Staff very helpful selecting a variety of excellent Asian tapas. Cozy atmosphere. Street parking can be a challenge but well worth it..

This place has a nice Happy hour. A good variety of choices. You can try without really worrying about the bill. Almost everything is good, so you are safe to experiment! Can be crowded but making a reservation will get you seats.

Small restaurant located off of Park Street. This very red walled asian fusion spot has a very eclectic menu and everything is good. The kimchee fried rice, the pork belly sushi is amazing. It's one of our favorite places for happy hour. We literally order every thing on the happy hour menu and 2 dozen oysters $1 each during happy... More

Highly recommend for its ambiance and delicious food. Very cozy - as good as many SF restaurants for those who prefer to stay local

We eat at Zen 4-5 times per year. It's a good value for the quality of the food, which is always consistently good. Usually not crowded so you can just walk in. Especially like the odd combinations like the pork belly sushi and the fish egg spaghetti.

If you get there in time (I think it's only until 6:30), the happy hour food specials are great. Unfortunately a few of our favorite dishes aren't on the special menu so they are full price (Zen salad, kimchee fried rice, spicy edemame), but the sweet potato fries with aioli, tuna tartare and pork belly sushi are so the total... Had the Viognier--crisp and flavorful!! 1/2 off. Loved the sweet potato fries. They had a light tempura batter. Edamame was just spicy enough. The tuna tartare with the Wonton chips were light and tasty. All of the appetizer were Happy Hour prices. Great value.

Such an excellent experience. I'm gluten intolerant and the waitress had a list of all the menu items I could get. We got the salmon wrap and grilled prawns to start. Both were unbelievable - excellent quality of shrimp and the flavors in the salmon wrap - so good! We then shared the salmon teriyaki and chicken teriyaki. These came... More

We were delighted last night to find that this restaurant just a block from the cinema complex has such an enticing selection of reasonably priced tapas and main dishes. We were amply satisfied with three tapas, curried mussels, sauteed tofu (unbelievably soft and flavorful), octopus puffs, and a main dish of pasta with shrimp and clams. To top it all... More

Zen is a unique asian tapas fusion restaurant. The portions are smaller but priced accordingly. Part of the fun is ordering several things to try. We usually order and share. The edemame is wonderfully seasoned and the asian fries and dipping sauce are an interesting flavor. That compliments the many selections including both raw fish based tapas and cooked tapas....
