Great Food

The green tea leaf is a must! There is always a line, that's because the food is great. But they are also fast and efficient.

If you like to have a authentic Asia food experience I recommend this restaurant. The place is very small but cozy. I recommend to arrive early to avoid the lines, especially if you are in a large group (above 7 people) because they do not accept reservations. The food is delicious and I recommend Walnut Shrimp ($15) or Sesame Chicken... More

This is the kind of restaurant you're looking forward to go back to once you go there. It has all of criteria for favorite restaurant. And food was surprisingly really really good. We ordered minced chicken with mint and spicy lamb stir-fry, it was really tasty. Food comes in large portion, you could share it with someone else. Service was... More

I used to think Burma Supestar was really good, but over the years as I have had more Burmese food at different restaurants, this restaurant doesn't seem as special. It's somewhat expensive for what you get. The tea leaf salad is good, but it's not a whole lot of substance. The chicken coconut noodles was pretty plain tasting as was... More

Just as good as the Burma Superstar in SF. However, it doesn't have the same lunch specials so it is a bit pricier. Great spicy garlic noodles with duck and the shrimp and mango stir-fry. The Burmese Ale was excellent to go along with them.

This is a small place so you will have a wait for a table, but it is worth the wait. Try the Tea Leaf Salad.

This small restaurant doesn't take reservations: you sign up when you arrive if the house is full. Our name was high on the list at 6:10, but two parties of three were seated before us. After waiting about 45 minutes, we were seated right by the door, which of course was opened every few minutes by the maitre d' to... More

The food and service is very good. They do not take reservations and there is usually a long line to get in. Try going early if you don't want to wait. Food is worth it. Must try tea leaf salad, .

Eat at BS at least once a month; both for lunch and dinner. Frequently take out-of-state visitors with "high standards" and all have been delighted. Varied menu is one of its top-points.

I got the infamous tea leaf salad- good, nutty, kinda in a bitter way, very unique. Coconut rice and the spicy crispy chicken were delicious. Had the fried banana dessert which was delicious. This is a great place with a relaxing atmosphere. I ended up splitting all these items with the person I went with and still had left offers... More
