Always Amazing!

I love nearly everything I've tried at Burma Superstar including the drinks and rice! You must try the Coconut Rice and Thai Ice Tea (or hot mint & lemon tea or fresh coconut water iut of the coconut ). I also believe that everyone ought to try the Rainbow Salad and the Tea Leaf Salad. In my... read more

I've been to this rest multiple times-- never disappoints. Good SALADs (Green tea leaf salad flavors dance in your mouth), good portions. My guests (and my tummy) are always happy. Good service too. Reasonable price. What else can you ask for? (Oh yes, bigger place so you do not have to wait in line :-)

I get something different almost every time I come here and it is always fabulous. The service is good and the price is very reasonable. The ambiance is just ok. The space itself doesn't really do it for me, but aside from that that I love it.

A little out of the way in Alameda, CA, but worth the trip. It is a small place and there is a wait but after we ate we did not mind at all. The food was well prepared , fresh, spiced perfectly and served hot. We had the basil chicken, tea leaf salad and a moh hinga soup. They were... More

The food in this restaurant is like nothing I have tested. It was very busy which was a positive when we arrived. The service given by the waiters were second to none. As my previously commented the food was tasty, healthy and delicious. Will definitely visit again when were in California!

This was our second visit to the Burma Superstar restaurant in Alameda and you can tell how popular it is because you always have to wait to get in as they do not take reservations. The Rainbow salad is a must have! Amazing how 22 ingredients tossed together before you can be sooo delicious. The curry is on the sweet... More

The tea leaf salad was good, and the other dishes quite solid. There was a short wait for a table but there are two bookstores within yards of the restaurant.

The food is good. The service not so much. The restaurant automatically charges 18% gratuity even on take out orders. That does not seem right for a mid to upper level price restaurant.

I love this restaurant. I love the vegetarian choices. I love the tea leaf salad with flavors that make you savor every bite. This is my go to restaurant when I want a flavorful meal.
