This is delicious Chinese food. If you want run-of-the-mill selections, go somewhere else but if you want something truly interesting, this is the place. The food is consistently delicious and the service is wonderful. These are lovely people. It's the best Chinese/Asian food in the area by a longshot!

It was our first time to the Agoura Hills area and we were looking for a restaurant where could enjoy vegetarian and non vegetarian cuisine. We searched online and found the Mandarin Express (Lotus) restaurant. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the husband and wife owners. They were very friendly and welcoming. We looked at the menu options and... More

The food was quite good. We ordered the OMG shrimp, and some dumpling appetizers. The OMG was a large serving, and we shared it. It was quite flavorful and fresh. The dumplings were just dumplings. The menu has many healthy choices, like tofu, and gluten free. There were lots of people picking up food to take home. We will be... More

I thought the food was just ok and very over priced. If you ask for anything different in a dish, watch out. Your price will be much higher than expected.

The food was great, prices were a little high but the owners were so nice and made dinner at the mandarin express worth the extra money we spent.

"Fusion" = interesting sauces for various meats (or tofu...). Good enough to go back to, if you're headed that way. Fair prices, informal; good service

I heard many good things from my co-worker about Mandarin Express, so we decided to give it a try. When we arrived shortly after 5pm on a week night we were the only guests in the restaurant. Service was great! Owner was delightful and offered many suggestions. We went with three different dishes, OMG shrimp, New York Fried Rice, and... More

Great owners!! Kim is amazing and remembers you the first time you walk in the doors there. The Egg Rolls with Mango Sauce are TO DIE FOR. A little heavy in price. Delivery minimum is a bit high at $40, but it's just Kim, her husband and one or two cooks working, so it's understandable. I love this place, all... More

We've been to Mandarin Express many times this past year, as it quickly became a family favorite. Their cooking is very creative, and innovative. With vegetarians in the family, we love that we all have many choices, and no matter what we get, the quality is excellent. Favorites are the Lemongrass beef or veggie, and the horseradish beef or veggie... More
