Good stuff

Interesting restaurant and bar with so much character and history for the Conejo Valley. Truly a bucket list experience.

One of our favorite places in this area of Calabasas, Agoura, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village is The Old Place. The steak is real beef prepared the historical way. The ambience is unique and genuine. We've eaten here more than 15 years and will keep coming back when we're in the area. If you want genuine dining experiences, try this.........it cant... More

A secret spot known and loved mostly by locals with terrific food and funky atmosphere. Reservations needed. Great winery next door for a tasting while you wait...

This restaurant is in an old log cabin up in the mountains, with the accompanying winery next door. Very small, so you need to make a reservation for one of the oversized private booths if you have more than 4 people. Otherwise you'll sit at the bar counter. Live music, you can even make requests! Brunch was delicious; looking forward... More

Great food in a fun atmosphere. We enjoyed our lunch here, but would have loved to try the Roasted Bone Marrow that was on the dinner menu! Also, there's an interesting shop next door with antiques, etc, from Provence.

The food is just okay. This is just a place to come and feel hip just out of town. Sometimes they have live music out on the porch, which is nice. The kitchen is pretty filthy.

Review is more of a 2.5 than a 3. We had booked the private room for our special birthday celebrant. This was an interesting getaway/hideaway of an establishment. Parking - Free, but was kind of interesting to say the least. We parked very close to a tree, which thankfully didn't fall over from it's leaning position. Food/Beverage - Kind of... More

Wow, wow, wow! What a gem tucked away in the hills! Great steaks, boar sausage was unbelievable, portions huge and wine outstanding! You have to live quirky to enjoy this place! Music was infectious!

It's just about 5 minutes drive off of the 101 Freeway just off Kanan Dume Road but it feels like it's miles away. Nothing very fancy here but what they serve is well done. It's in the woods so you really get the feel of leaving town for an hour or so. It gets packed on the weekends so plan... More

Tiny little rustic restaurant, that operates strictly with reservation. Meat eaters paradise, great steak, the Lamb Special was phenomenal, and the portions are not for the faint hearted! Good wine selection, and the Cornell Winery next door offers an even greater range, and tasting before you buy. Definately worth the visit, food prices were reasonable, and the ambiance is unique....
