Outstanding food, service, and value! What more can you ask for? Always enjoy dining there with friends and family!
My task: find a restaurant close to the office that was willing to take a reservation for 14 people for Friday night with a 1 hour notice. A colleague suggested Maria's, which fit the requirement for both vegetarian and meat-eating guests. The outdoor patio (see photo) on a warm summer evening is so relaxing and inviting, just what we all... More
The food at this reataurant is really average. Not good flavor profiles, sometimes it tastes a little burned. Won't go back.
We went to Maria's as a last minute decision for Valentine's Day. Fortunately they weren't taking reservations and we had no problem getting a table. Their V-Day special for $45 included an appetizer, two side salads, two entrees (half orders), a dessert and two glasses of sparkling wine. Food was very good, substantial and the price couldn't be beat. Their... More
Salad, pasta and ravioli were excellent. Great taste. You must try thisw place. Not too expensive either. Ask for Christina, the waitress, she is the best. Saw her dealing with a jerk at the table next to us and she handled it very professionally. She is one of the reasons we drive out of our way to go to this... More
Maria's pizza is the best pizza in town. It reminds me of pizza I would eat in New York City. (It should, Maria's recipes are 'New Jersey Italian!) Their chopped salad is also great. I always order the Penne Arabiata. Not on the menu but they will make it for you if you ask. Their Rosemary bread is killer! Just... More
I visited this restaurant for the first time, recently, with a group of friends. The atmosphere is more diner than fine dining but the service, for our group of nine, was first rate. Our server was on top of the little things like refilling water glasses and noticing when a late comer arrived to get his order. I had Chicken... More
We went there for lunch. We did not have anything fancy. Lasagna, Ceasar Salad, and Spagetti. No wine or alcoholic beverages. When the bill came, it was over $90. Needless to say we will not be going back. I would have eaten better at Macaronni Grill.
Multi-restaurant chain. A welcomed addition to Agoura Hills. Pasta is usually right on the money as far as not overcooked. The right amount of garlic, great bread and salads. Service is usually quick and gracious. Not professional servers here, just kids who seem to like what they are doing and they are quite good at it. The only knock is... More
My dining companions never tried risotto before. So we ordered some. The rice was over cooked and our mushroom risotto lacks of substances (i.e. taste). My garlic spinach pizza was OK, but it's not all that either... yes, it's thin crust and yes the spinach is tasty but it lacks of soul and too much oil.
