good food and brew, then off to the show at the Canyon

Went to see the Fixx at the Canyon. Grabbed a beer and some cow cheek prior to the show very near by. GF enjoyed sliders. All unique, good setting, decent wait staff. If I go see a show again, I will repeat this process.

My favorite beer is the Blind Ambition. Not only the taste but check out the alcohal content. Wow one is enough. My favorite is the Beef Sliders but I change the fries out for a salad or sweet potato fries. Hands down my favorite place to head after a 4 hour mountain bike ride...

Among the handful of "tap house" style microbrewery’s and restaurants in the area, Ladyface is by far the best. I usually try to find seating around the wrap around bar to sample their brew masters latest creation. there is nothing mundane about the menu.. It reminds you that something as simple as mac n' cheese can be turned into a... More

This is a great local place. Hardly a week goes by that we don't have either lunch or dinner at Ladyface. We prefer the outdoor seating since the inside can be noisy. Family favorites are the Fish & Chips, Vancouver Island Salmon, Mac & Cheese, and the Sweet Potato Fries. Beer flights are fabulous. I like that I can order... More

I have had both lunch outside and dinner inside. The food is great, something a bit different. The beer selection is excellent.

Just stopped in to try the beer. Didn't disappoint. Friendly, knowledgeable bartender with good suggestions. Looks like they have a strong local following. We did have a good pretzel ( they source it from the bakery in the center) with very good mustard and a little cheese fondue. Will have to go back and try the food.

I had not been to Ladyface in about two or so years. The food was not as good as the last time, and the service definitely not as good. It was so so and there didn't seem to be as many in the restaurant for lunch as the last time I had visited either. I would definitely think about going... More

This place is great for a happy hour and casual dinner. The on tap selection is big at 15-20 beers across many varieties. The food is mostly good - we love the burger and flatbreads - but some of it is more average bar food. That being said, for the price (in the area) it is hard to beat the... More

Very good food, terrific beer made on premises and a lively fun pub type ambiance, particularly in this part of town which is not known for culinary adventure. Good value too. Recommended.
