Wonderful food

We had dinner here for our anniversary. First time but it wont e the last. Small hidden away place but very popular. Very prompt service, friendly waiters, very good food and nicely sized portions. I would highly recommend this place.

If you are looking for "different" preparations with very interesting takes on traditional dishes, look here. Quiet elegance at a price befitting the quality of the food.

I give this restaurant an “A” for a delightful dining experience. We started out with Prisoner’s fare – bread and water. The bread was excellent and the water was served from a bottle that was left on the table for a convenient self-refill. My wife and I enjoyed flavorful cocktails, and a delicious Warm Spinach Salad, Sand Dabs and Short... More

This place hidden in a strip mall on the fringes of suburban Los Angeles lost it's unknown status a few years ago when foodies could exchange stories of this incredible dining experience in the most unlikely of places. Then the noise grew louder as Zagat started placing Café 14 in the top 50 restaurants in LA. This November Zagat issued... More

We chose Cafe 14 based on reviews from Travel Advisor and they did not disappoint! The place was comfy, not loud, but a comfortable conversational level permeated the great smelling diming room. I felt like I was at a big dinner party with the scent of gourmet cuisine cooking in the next room. The service was professional but not stuffy.... More

overrated, not that I am that fussy but the only thing that I found special about this restaurant is that it is over priced.

The food here is AMAZING!!! Great wine selection too, and very personable service. You may not think it when you pull into this shopping center just off the freeway but it really is a hidden gem woth visiting again and again. I have been here for dinner twice, and can't wait to go back. And, they are great for private... More

We live just walking distance away from this place but unfortunately yesterday was our first visit there. Overall, we had great experience and will definitely be frequent visitors. We ordered skirt steak and duck stroganoff; and both dishes were excellent. Desert and wine list was also outstanding. We highly recommended this place for any occasion.

I live near Beverly Hills and it was worth the drive to Agoura Hills to eat at Cafe 14. We shared the Moroccan roasted cauliflower with raisins, yogurt, green onions and cilantro in a spiced vinaigrette. Next up the crispy Thai 3 pepper shrimp with ponzu, honey and Thai basil. The sauces were so amazing that I ended up scooping... More

So, "who knew", and much has been made at the unexpected location (strip mall--just off of Reyes Adobe Rd.) of a restaurant of this quality. Yes I gave it 5 circles and I have had better meals at more expensive restaurant--but rarely (if ever) has this quality been this reasonably priced. I have frequented this place for years and was...
