My family go often, and are never disappointed. It's smaller than average, but the food is fantastic! Breakfast is the best.. Fresh food, great gravy and many home style choices. The place isn't in the best neighborhood but you'd never guess once inside. It's a diner, and has tons of charm. It's a workin' man, local diner kind of place.... More

Really good place for breakfast. The pancakes here were probably the best I have had in the United States. The location and appearance of the place are a little interesting, but just march straight in. You will get some authentic home style breakfast. Definitely recommended! Hilarious service with old ladies wondering around as waitresses. Service was quick, no issues with... More

I used to frequent TJ's a couple times a week when I lived in Phoenix years ago. So I was excited to visit again when I was stopping through the city. It did not let down, if anything it was better. Just a simple, home style diner. The service is always friendly and the breakfasts are tasty and large. Can't... More

Don't expect anything fancy. This a is homey and friendly place. The restaurant is so popular that you'll most likely have to wait for a table, but it's worth it. They're only open for breakfast or lunch so don't make dinner plans. To top everything off, their prices are reasonable.

During my recent visit to the Phoenix area, I was looking for a "local" type of place where I could have a nice breakfast. TJs is the place! The cinnamon roll was delicious, the bacon crispy, the sausage homemade and the homemade cinnamon raisin toast to die for! The wait staff was attentive and seemed to really love not only... More

I have eaten at TJ's many ,many times and though the decor is plain, the food more than makes up for it. Breakfast is my favorite. BIG portions which are reasonably priced. Located on Dysart Road South of Van Buren on the West side of the street in a strip mall, TJ's is easy to find. Plenty of Parking as... More

TJ's has the best cinnamon bread and cinnamon pecan rolls I have ever tasted. For breakfast, the bone-in ham slice is huge, the chicken-fried steak is thick and tastes like steak, and the waffles are crisp and light The portions are large and offered at a very reasonable price. The only thing that needs improvement is their web site.

Recently moved to Arizona. Going to TJ's is reminds me of an old school diner. Super friendly place with down home casual atmosphere. Large portions. My vegetarian omelet was awesome, hash browns were good too. My husband had the breakfast with bacon, ham and sausage. He said it was ok, but loved the biscuits and gravy. I've eaten here for...
