Great service and food

Onion rings were okay. Pickles were excellent. Main course-gumbo and catfish were very good. We will return

I liked everything I ate here. My party started off with an order of onion rings. They were good, although amount served was rather skimpy. I got a catfish po' boy, which was tasty. If I go back, I would order a catfish plate and do away with all the bread. Sandwich was big, with a good amount of fried... More

Im from Kentucky and we love to deep fry the hell out of everything. So when I heard about this place from my friends my brain nearly exploded. Fried pickles ( frickled ) , fried green tomatoes, and the list goes on. The classic Cajun food is up to snuff and will leave you wanting more if you can fit... More

Got to try the restaurant on latest visit to Phoenix area. Convenient to get to as it's just off I-10. In open mall area with easy parking access. Being from Cajun country often a bit leery about eating back home style food away. BUT, glad I did. Our group tried a number of items on menu. No hot peppers thrown... More

This is the place for really good Southern Fried Catfish and very generous portions. If you want service, atmosphere and good ice tea - go to the very limited good fish places (almost non existant) in the Valley. Ordered a fish basket - that's what it was - a basket of fish and a peace of bread. No french fries... More

Whenever we are in the Phoenix area we ALWAYS eat at Flavors! The poboys are the best you will ever eat...even better than anything in Louisiana!! The chicken and sausage gumbo is fabulous! We have tried almost everything on the menu and have enjoyed it all! No meal is complete without a banana pudding or cheesecake with praline sauce!!

I was pleased to hear about this place because there are not too many places on this side of town where one can get fried oysters. The restaurant was casual, clean and nice enough. The waiter/host was super friendly. I got the oyster po boy with fries. The sandwich was delicious, nice amount of good sized oysters. The french fries... More

We ordered the fried green tomatoes and they were super. Wife had a shrimp po'boy that was pretty darn good. Unfortunately I ordered the seafood gumbo, not what I expected; kind of watery and my bowl had no okra and little spice. Tried the red beans and rice...just so-so. We decided to try them again to see if the red... More
