Second time as good as the first

The second time I ate here with friends, I skipped the bread of a po'boy and had the dunkin' catfish. This dish consists of a bed of rice with fried catfish on top, with crawfish etouffee on top of that. This dinner also comes with a salad, which I think is kind of silly. Why do something healthy... read more

. After a brief layover in Phoenix, we were searching for a place to get good fish. We came across this restaurant through an online search. Most of the reviews were good, so we borrowed the company car and drove 14 miles to get there. From the outside it was nice, with outside seating, and upon entering there was a friendly... More

This is the best Cajun food you will find within a 1000 miles! I'm from Louisiana and the food here is better than the Cajun cafe's in Houston!

Our server, Aaron knows his stuff. He took the time to go through the entire menu with us. Granted, it was a slower time but by the time he finished we wanted one of each. To begin with we are hard core foodies and will try anything. It had to be good and it was. The deep fried green tomatoes... More

My friends and I are always on the lookout for non-chain restaurants in the West Valley. After reading fellow "yelpers" reviews, we decided to give Flavors of Louisiana a shot and I am so glad we did. Flavors of Louisiana got it right. Fresh food, flavorful ingredients, large portions, modest prices, excellent cutomer service and easy access parking out front.... More

Onion rings were okay. Pickles were excellent. Main course-gumbo and catfish were very good. We will return

I liked everything I ate here. My party started off with an order of onion rings. They were good, although amount served was rather skimpy. I got a catfish po' boy, which was tasty. If I go back, I would order a catfish plate and do away with all the bread. Sandwich was big, with a good amount of fried... More

Im from Kentucky and we love to deep fry the hell out of everything. So when I heard about this place from my friends my brain nearly exploded. Fried pickles ( frickled ) , fried green tomatoes, and the list goes on. The classic Cajun food is up to snuff and will leave you wanting more if you can fit... More

Got to try the restaurant on latest visit to Phoenix area. Convenient to get to as it's just off I-10. In open mall area with easy parking access. Being from Cajun country often a bit leery about eating back home style food away. BUT, glad I did. Our group tried a number of items on menu. No hot peppers thrown... More
