Slow service

Second time here and felt the service was pretty slow. I feel like the servers are overworked so they are less attentive. When we came here last year, we wanted to put up an umbrella as someone in our party wasn't feeling well but the server told us there were microbursts and we weren't allowed to... read more

Filly's is a real roadhouse where the locals go. My group made the decision to share each other's meals, so I can say from experience that the ribs, wings, chili, chicken and cornbread are all amazing. The ribs are the best I've ever had! The service was decent (nothing amazing) and the band was pretty good.

It's a very large and tasty meal for a little cash--the prices are very reasonable. They are friendly and attentive, and have a huge overflow area which I guarantee you gets used. Often, bands play in the evenings and they're good. This is a small town place which is very popular with the locals. I think you'll like the food;... More

We went to Fillys on a Saturday afternoon, There was live music and a dancing area in an outdoor area. People come there on horseback and tie up their horses in the back. This area provides a nice view of superstition mountain. Food was good saloon food and inexpensive. I would go there again.

We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was jam packed full so we had to wait at least 30 minutes to get served a beverage and longer for food. But there was always lots to see while you were waiting.

Filly's is a definite must if you are in the Phoenix area. It is a bar and grill with local band entertainment and a super relaxing atmosphere. Food is normal except the portions are huge and the service is friendly and engaging. The view of Superstition Mountain as the sun sets is astounding. Locals ride their horses in for an... More

My chili burger was excellent -- French fries only so-so, Husband said his broasted chicken was very good for "the type of place this is". Quite crowded the evening we were there and I think that is a normal pattern. House band played western swing/country -- no loud guitar or drums -- just enjoyable music that people were dancing to.... More

We've driven by this so many times we just had to stop for a late lunch as we've heard good things. Ok, I'm not picky, but seriously this was bad pub food. We had the sample platter - fries, onion rings, zuchinni slices battered, and 2 chicken strips (bonus points - real chicken breast). Soggy fries, greasy rings...Zuchinni was the... More
