Great Food, Great Atmosphere

This is a great restaurant for just about any occasion. Seating is at long tables, so you never know who you might be sitting next to. You get plenty of country-type side dishes (beans, cole slaw, etc) and then three meats. The ribs were great, and so was the bread. We were there in between... read more

We had make reservations and asked to accommodate 8 of us in their regular seating area. Told no problem. When we got there they had us at two tables and not that close together so we didn't have the expected get together. Food was just okay too. None of us were impressed.

We live clear on the other (west) side of the valley so this was part of a multifaceted "Eastside experience." The dining was last and that's a good idea. I don't think we could have accomplished much other that waddle to the car and head for home. We chose the family style dining @ about $18.00 per person. This includes... More

If you have never experienced this type of restaurant, by all means go. It can be fun especially ifbyouncum with friends or family because that what it is, family dining. The setting is great, right at the foot of Superstition Mountain andbthevfood is OK also. We have been twice and that is enough.

Nestled at the foothills of Superstition Mountains in the Far East valley, the Mining Camp restaurant is definitely your best choice. Open only on the weekends May thru October, I prefer the menu offerings over the family style. We tried it and beef ribs had too much bottled smoke taste. I've never had a steak at the traditional restaurant but... More

Spend a little time outside the restaurant just admiring the beautiful Superstition Mountains. You are so close and the view is just fantastic. The restaurant looks old and very rustic so just take your time and savor the atmosphere. Besides, you are paying for it. The meal is $19.95 per person. We had great BBQ ribs that are just a... Not easy to find this restaurant unless you have heard about it and generally it is word of mouth. Ate once at the buffet, okay food, great for a group with live entertainment offered. Good, quick service. Quite noisy with picnic table style seating in a dining hall. At the same location you will find the Lost Dutchman restaurant. Great... More

The service provided over the phone by Debra was FANTASTIC! I called from NH to make Mothers Day reservations for my parents and she took care of everything. They enjoyed their meal and fantastic service yesterday and called to say they will be back...to try your streak! Thank you for taking great care of Mom & Dad! We will stop... More

We ate here with two other couples and had a fantastic time. The food was served family style and you certainly didn't go away hungry! Everything was delicious - chicken, ham, ribs, slaw, potatoes, rolls, green beans, baked beans. Service was good as well. After we ate we enjoyed the Amazing McNasty Brothers. They were so much fun - and... More

Stayed at Lost Dutchman campground, a mile away, and went here for dinner. FABULOUS food. Shrimp appetizer could be a meal in itself. Prime rib was cooked just right, and not fatty. Rib eye steak, ditto. Dessert was made to order. A super meal. Be sure to stop. Oh, a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
