We made reservations for a group of 8. We were on line and had some questions and called. We were treated wonderful over the phone and even given a code for a discount. When we went the food was wonderful. All you can eat of the best ribs, chicken and ham with all the trimmings. The McNasty Brothers were really... More

Highly recommend this place if you are in Apache junction. The burger was one of the best I've eaten. It was a bit pricey but worth every penny. Much better than the ghost camp restaurant my dad took me too last time I was in town.

The food was great, the staff friendly and will go out of their way to please you. We had BBQ beef ribs and prime rib - wish we had a few more nights to try the stakes too. The deserts and drinks were also very good. They have shows and serve family style dinner some nights. They are open late... More

GET TO THE MINING CAMP! That's really all this review needs to say. Seriously. The drive through Apache Junction is a treat in and of itself. It's like the town that time forgot as you pass by decades old dusty shops and scenery. Heading up highway 88, you can't miss the majestic Superstition Mountains beckoning you to the front doors... After hiking the Flat Iron, we were STARVING! A local had recommended The Mining Camp so we went for it. The ride to the restaurant is kind of bizarre (through a subdivision) but the final location is really quaint We had one of the best meals of our AZ trip here - delicious salad served on a chilled plate with... We ate dinner here Thanksgiving Day, 11/27/14, and it was terrific! There were four of us, we had reservations, and were seated promptly regardless of the huge crowd. Our waitress, Sue, was wonderful and attentive. You are served family style, platters of food that you pass around. Everything was hot and delicious. We had turkey & stuffing, ham and bbq... More
