The Mining Camp is a great place to take a group for birthday or other celebration as well as just to eat. Seating is picnic table style with food served family style. Ribs (great), BBQ chicken and ham with sides. Entertainment for 1 hour. The McNasty Brothers were very good with the music and their banter. Also saw the Limeliters... More

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening. The web site suggested reservations. We made them just to be on the safe side but as it turned out they weren’t needed. This place has a bit of an identity problem because they have two dining rooms (aka two restaurants in one building). Each has a different name and purpose. The... More

We went here while visiting the area with my husbands grandparents who are frequents of this restaurant. The service was great and the food was delicious. Very classic meal, savory sirloin, buttery mashed potatoes and good grilled corn on the cob. My husbands grandfather swears by the prime rib and it did look pretty great! I had a nice red... More

The Dutchman's Hide Out is a second restaurant in the back part of the Mining Camp restaurant in the hills of Superstition Mountain. Very clean, nicely decorated western theme. Wait staff very efficient. Not a huge menu but a nice variety and the food was well prepared. Music in the background was low enough that you could actually carry on... More

A forced last minute issue with our wedding venue sent us with a case of anxiety to the Mining Camp Restaurant. From the moment we walked in the door and were greeted by the owner we knew that we had come to the right place. Vinton and his wife Debbie took over and made this a beautiful wedding experience. All... More

I went for their lunch entertainment. The food was very good and so was the entertainment. The food is served family style but not to worry if the bowl is empty. They will bring you more. They had roast beef and chicken with stuffing when we went. Entertainment lasted about a hour. The place sits at the bottom of Superstition... More

This is our favorite restaurant in the area. Many others have rated the main dining room, the one with entertainment, but we prefer the second dining room, called Dutchman's Hideout. Here you can order off a menu and there are many interesting choices. Their sandwiches, especially the Gold Strike Burger and the Mammoth Chicken Sandwich, are excellent and I probably... More

Hello AJAZBOB, Awesome review, thank you for your time on this. My favorite is also the Mammoth Chicken Sandwich, I think I get it about 95% of the time. If I don't have it, I get the Berry Soup. So next time you come in just get the Dynamite Shrimp appetizer and Berry Soup, and enjoy it. We love to... More

We had good memories of this place when we visited in 1998. It was even better this time! We had 6 adults in our group and we all had a great time. The food was very good. There wasn't anything I didn't like. The band was great! I would definitely recommend this dinner show!

We spent the past week performing at the Mining Camp in Apache Junction.AZ. The owners were excellent hosts, going out of their way to satisfy the guests needs as well as ours. We are excited to go back several times next season to perform and enjoy this family friendly, great food and entertainment restaurant in Apache Junction!

Those of you who have heard of or remember the Lampliters will enjoy this venue for yourself and northern visitors. Good western mining food in a mining camp atmosphere while enjoying the songs and entertainment of the Lampliters made for a good night in Apache Junction Arizona.
