Mining Camp Restaurant

Fun place to take out of town guests or just to go for dinner. Very cute entertainment. Staff is excellent and ready to help with all your needs. My favorite entertainment is the McNasty Brothers. A little adult, but a very good show.

Jodie was a great server and turned us on to the carrot soup (scrumptious) and biscuits. My Prospecters Stew was perfect for dinner. All food at our table was well liked.

We're locals, so it's not too hard to get to the Mining Camp Restaurant in Apache Junction. It's an interesting experience -- a place decked out like a real mining camp, with food served family style at long tables with benches. It seems to us that in the past couple of years, the food has declined in quality. They offer... More

Hello Tomcat, Thank you for your review and the time you took with it. I am sorry that the meal was a bit dry. We don't want the impression that the flavor comes from our sauce. Yes, we do have a different cut on the chicken, the way the old miners did it back long ago. Did you enjoy the... More

Went here twice. Show is better than the food. Show was below average. Food was just below the show. We went there on 2 occasions and both times it was less than I expected.

We love going to this restaurant that isn't just for tourists! The atmosphere at and location of the Mining Camp Restaurant is spectacular. Even though we are just a few miles away from this restaurant we don't wait for visitors to come to have a meal here. The food, including the homemade dinner rolls and desserts, are top notch and... We have gone to the Phoenix area for two or three weeks for the past decade. Each year we try to add a new attraction to the list. We were looking at area concerts and discovered the Mining Camp Restaurant. We booked on line for a Jimmy Fortune concert. We had always wanted to see the Statler Brothers in concert,... More

My wife and I went to dinner on March 17th and we were looking forward to a great steak house dinner. While the outside looks like your in for one of the best diner experiences you soon fine that they spend more money on the looks of the place then on the food itself. We have been to a lot... More

We have always loved the Dutchman's Hideout Steakhouse at the Mining Camp. The food is great; for wine lovers, a good choice is available. The servers have always been competent and friendly. When we have visitors, we always take them here for dinner. We live in the area for three months, and just ate there for the fourth time this... More

My family and I went here expecting a decent meal and some live music. We ate a feast like I have not eaten in years. Then we were treated to an excellent show by the amazing Mcnasty Brothers.
