Few things on the planet evoke a wider range of debate than Southern BBQ... which is defined as slow cooked pork. For over 25 years the BBQ House has offered up a consistently succulent pork sandwich (sliced, chopped, or chipped). All the standard fixins (stew, slaw, beans, potato salad) are about standard, but the sandwiches are merit worthy. And since... More

If you want an excellent traditional breakfast (eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast) - this is the place to go! The short-order cook is truly a wizard. We look forward to our monthly meeting there for the rest of the month.

I must say that the food was fantastic and the hospitality was second to none. Being a Mississippi State fan, the Price family made me feel so welcomed in the land of the Tigers. Chopped BBQ plate is the way to go. Great job well done Jeff!

Priced right! Double meat for about 6 bucks. Love this sandwich. Whenever my wife and i go close to the college, this is a required stop.

I am a major BBQ fanatic and as such, I must state that I don't care for any kind of pulled-pork sandwich because it's always either stringy and tasteless with no char or smoky taste, or it's been covered up by sauce until it's unrecognizable. At BBQ House, the chopped pork sandwich is the real thing: delicious smoky flavor from... More

For less than six dollars, I get two fried eggs, whole wheat toast (or biscuits), Canadian bacon (they call it ham), fresh hash browns, and a drink--really good unsweet tea. We eat here regularly and it is always good. They also have good BBQ the rest of the day.

Thank you to Jeff Price for shipping the best BBQ in Alabama to Florida. I wanted to bring a little bit of home to my husband for his birthday and Mr Price made this happen. I highly recommend this family owned restaurant to anyone that is in the neighborhood. Great people and great service!!

Eaten here several times during the last couple of years when in town on business. This is the best barbeque I've ever had. The slaw and barbeque beans are excellent too. If they only had hushpuppies instead of sliced bread.

I tried this restaurant because of the advertising in the Tourist Office Office. It was rated in the 10 best restaurant in town. At first, since I am not american, a barbecue house is not the same for me as for the Southerner. But was I get was mushy, over power with hot pepper (maybe to hide the poor taste... More
