We made a reservation for Ariccia on a Tuesday night. Tuesday night is also Pasta Night. We ordered the Calamari. This was ok. It seemed like there was not much calamari and more batter. The sauce was good with a little kick. I would not order this again. I ordered their salmon which was fabulous. This is supposedly on the... More

My husband and I met some friends for a birthday dinner at Ariccia and had a very good meal. I had the salmon on a cedar plank and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had the Ariccia salad and it was delicious. He also had the fig and pear pizza and it was yummy!! A friend had the Osso Bucco... More

We always come to Auburn for football weekends. We had a wonderful meal. The Prime Rib is an awesome choice. After we had dinner we decided to go to the bar and hang out and have a few drinks. The bar tender (Nick) was a very nice and would seem to always go out of his way. Overall our experience... More

For a restaurant that is supposed to be upscale, the service was indifferent. It's the only restaurant I've been to where the wine was opened and poured into glasses, and served before anybody had a say. They essentially emptied the bottles into glasses and up them on the table. Quite strange. Could have lived with that, but the food wasn't... More

We went to the restaurant last Friday. I was looking for a pizza without meat, they made me a $17 pizza that has only sauce and lettuce. My wife asked for an osso bucco that came with risotto, the rice was served raw and cold, we sent it back to the kitchen, the plate came back the rice was still... More

Ariccia has been a favorite among my group a friends for a while -- we loved the Sunday morning jazz brunches the most, and would visit at least once a month. My husband and I have been away from Auburn for about 9 months, so when we were in town for a football game this weekend, we made Ariccia a... More

Food always good. Service can be a little slow due to frequent turn over of wait staff (affiliated with hotel & restaurant management program at AU) however, they are always friendly. Hans does a great job!

Dear 1julia2013, It is great to see that you have something good to say about the food in Ariccia. Our hotel does work closely with the University's hotel and restaurant management program and we encourage those students to pursue different outlets of the hotel business. The servers love to interact with the guests and make sure they have everything needed... More

We were staying at the hotel, and decided on having the breakfast buffet before checking out. There was an Octoberfest affair going in there the same weekend, but not an unusual number of people in the hotel. the hotel was great, but the buffet was a disaster. they were out of most of the items on the serving line, and... We had a blast haning out with one another. this place and the sharing are very special... Everything was great, especially our server; however, they need a lemon cake. Just sayin'...

The buffet was substantial! I didn't go to the egg bar because I was too full on the biscuits and gravy and the awesome bacon. It is pricey, but it's not Burger King quality food either. These were chefs, not teenagers! Very good!
