Cafe' is charming; funky enough to be cool but not weird. Great artwork, great menu. Waitress excellent, attentive. Enjoyed the lobster spring rolls. My friend didn't love the Curried Butternut Bisque...but she did love my spring rolls! Delicious coffee and iced tea. Floor and walls a bit tired...maybe need good cleaning or replacement/paint. I'd go again tomorrow.

Great food and it was an easy walk to the Auburn stadium. We made reservations and were immediately seated upon arrival with water glasses on the table. They even let us change the TV station to another football game.

Service is excellent, the menu is interesting, the ingredients are as local as they can get. My husband and I tend to go to Amsterdam during off-peak times so our experience is always relaxing. (It can be very busy during peak times during the semester.) This is a restaurant in a college town so the target customer is drawn from... More

Truthfully I don't remember what I had, so it wasn't overwhelming. The place had a unique atmosphere, live amateur music, a nice selection of wines, and quite a varied menu.

We had a table booked after a football game and the restaurant was full. Service was extremely good, food excellent and a good atmosphere. Staff were continuously topping up drinks and were attentive. Very happy to go back there again.

I ate here with my family two weeks ago and was somewhat disappointed. i had the seared tuna and it was average at best. The wine list was a middle of the road list. The service was fair. No one in my family had much to say about the restaurant. I think the restaurant is a better casual lunch stop.

Good choice of sandwiches, burgers, and seafood. Popular with local college kids. Reasonably priced. Good selection of local craft beers. I had their famous crab cake sandwich.

Great sandwich, a bit pricey for lunch. Went there for a business lunch, but seems high for the college students on a budget. Nonetheless, a great light sandwich, full of flavor. My associate had the turkey wrap and for a simple sandwich, the presentation was excellent.

Amsterdam Cafe in Auburn is one of our favorite places to dine. The shrimp and grits on the appetizer menu are the best! The food is overall delicious and the service is excellent.

We went 0 for 3 tonight for our daughter's birthday supper and that has always been our experience here - hit or bad miss. First - service is always great. Atmosphere, nothing to write home about, but better than fast food place. Highly recommend checking the menu online every time you go here because NOTHING on the menu is ever... More
