Great Home Cooked Meal, Away From Home

The workers are good-hearted people. They may get a bit stressed in times of high traffic, however. The food is good. The prices are average for the area. The inside is not fancy, just an average looking diner. But, the food is worth the cost. Try the koolaid! It is amazing.

If you really want authentic Southern cooking, this is the place to go. It's a favorite of the locals and a lesser known gem with all the chain restaurants in Auburn. You may have to wait, but I guarantee it's worth it. Do yourself a favor and go!

I eat here every time I'm in town. Everything on the menu is amazing Fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, Mac and cheese, okra green beans, greens, kool aid. the only problem is what to get, because I like it all! If you want good home cooked food, friendly service, go here you won't regret it.

Congrats and War Eagle to all the fine folks at P-G's Kitchen. As a long-since returning Auburn alumni visitor from Phoenix and Pensacola I spotted this great restaurant on Trip Adviser...had to try it and take some Auburn locals for their first visit here too. We all agreed...like Auburn U, this is a National Championship Restaurant. A gotta-try place. Tell'em... More

The ladies that run Pannie-George's are very nice and friendly and best of all they know how to cook. Large portions, traditional meat and three type place. The vegetables are always seasoned to perfection. The fried chicken is like mama use to make. Great lunch place.

This is the ideal meat and 2/3 restaurant. The fried chicken is delicious and the veggies are good. Everyone must be prepared for a possible wait. It was casual and friendly.

great food for the soul. It is like a home cooked meal without all of the clean up. I highly recommend the pork roast and dressing if it is available and of course the chicken is always good.

Was SO glad that we checked TripAdvisor and found this gem! The food is freshly prepared and piping hot with proportions fit for a hungry teenage boy. This family-run business is certainly a blessing for the community it serves...good prices, quantity, and quality of food.

We went for lunch because we had a taste for some fried chicken as we were visiting our Auburn University for the day. Oh my gosh. The food is amazing. The chicken was excellent. The black-eye peas - perfect. Cornbread awesome. Even the tea was exceptional. And the staff is delightful. Everything was so good, we can't wait to go... More

First let me say, the ladies are real sweethearts, felt like Sunday dinner at church. Grew up in southern Ohio eating fried chicken every Sunday. (Granted we usually killed our own on Saturday). My mother and all my aunts made better fried chicken then this (one still makes chicken so good, she would have shooed all ya out of the... More
