The best in Auburn!

The ladies are always nice and the food is fantastic. Best mac and cheese I have ever had. The catfish on Friday is the best and everything on the menu is very tasty. A+++

We eat here often for lunch and the food is always delicious. The fried chicken and mac 'n cheese can't be beat. These ladies know how to get it done! I do wish they would create a separate line for takeout/call-ins, as it slows the line down tremendously during the lunch hour. Other than that... just perfect!

The best home-cooked soul food in the State! You may have had it this good but you can't have it better! These ladies are an amazing team and lunch is always a choice of 3 entrees like fried chicken, pork chops (lightly battered served in a rich creamy gravy that fall off the bone), and beef tips in gravy. Then... More

Don't miss this little gem while you are in Auburn. If you love good Southern cooking, you will be very, very happy eating here. The fried chicken is so tender and juicy with a very light batter, and you can choose between dark or light meat. The collard greens were the best that I have had since my Grandmother's cooking,... Fried chicken, mac'n cheese, super cornbread. We were served quickly and nicely. Place was busy and we enjoyed listening to the customer behind us in line explaining Every choice to her friend. My husband just had to say "You must not be from around here! Good food, good times!

These ladies can seriously cook here. And they are basically doing it in front of you. I have only ever had the fried chicken but I love it. Sides are always really good and fresh. And they have homemade deserts. Great lunch spot. Sometimes the lines can get long since it's cafeteria style service.

Great fried chicken, collards, cornbread and rice and gravy. Our entire family thought all of their meals were wonderful.

The fried chicken is the best. I've tried other items (pot roast, meatloaf, etc) and always return to the chicken. The veggies are good as well. The food is heavy so I wouldn't recommend it if you're trying to watch what you eat. Another bonus is they don't season their food with pork. Friendly service also

Just off Exit 51 on Interstate 85 in Auburn, Alabama there is a wonderful family-run meat-and-3 restaurant that is too good to miss. My wife and I found Pannie-George's on Tripadvisor and decided to stop. I'm so glad we did. The food is marvelous! Southern soul food done perfectly. And the staff is friendly and accommodating. Don't miss the fried... More
