The Best Restaurant in Auburn

As a frequent traveler, it is always good to find a restaurant close to home. Even though it is a drive for me, we have eaten here twice in the last few months and have had a great experience both times. The menu is diverse and quite good. The staff is attentive and the wine list is reasonable... read more

My husband and I went to Maestro for a speaking dinner. The food was delicious and the service outstanding.

We followed Ziggy Luis to his weekly Tuesday night gig at the Maestro bar. The cauliflower soup was just right. The hot-toddy for a sore throat was perfect. And the waitstaff was always ready to help without being intrusive.

Overpriced, small portions, mediocre food. We are so disappointed with this place... Our expectations were high, as we had heard good things about this place. What a let down...

We found Maestro 2300 through Open Table when another restaurant we love was not available to book the other night. We think this place really does it all very well. Beautiful decor, attentive service and really nice food. Definitely a place we will return to. But do not be mislead by the $$ price indicated on OT. This is $50... More

I pretty much like everything about this place. It's not much to look at from the outside, it's in a non descript strip mall on the side of a normal suburban road, but the food is good, the service is good, they had a nice selection of reasonably priced wines, and the interior décor is nice. Yes, it's a bit... More

Like most restaurants in Auburn/Opelika, it is definitely over priced. But one gets used to it (over pricing) gradually. I dined here when it was first opened. I just ordered the so called tapas. Being a huge fan of tapas and having had the opportunity to eat in really good Tapas places (of course not in Auburn), I decided not... More

As on previous occasions in Auburn, the menu is limited but everyone should find something they like here. There were 3 of us; each ordered a different dish; and everyone enjoyed the meal.

One of the best meals I've eaten! Location is just outside the main strip in Auburn, a hidden gem! Excellent wine selection, a seasonal menu, courteous and friendly staff! Wonderful atmosphere as well.

I've eaten at Maestro several times, and I've never been disappointed. Their wine selection is amazing, and the flatiron steak (medium rare!) is a must try. My only complaint is that their entrees have been a bit salty.
